  1. Very difficult to tell from the pictures, however a word to the wise: If you have simply just "hung" your cooler from the top set of fixing points then unfortunately these will soon break off due to vibrations etc. You really do have to reinforce this install by connecting the top and lower fixing points of the cooler by suitable threaded rod and tubing. This is no criticism of your install but simply a point being made to avoid you any issues in the future. Alex.
  2. What one header Quote "a header" There again, a header set. Any way, if that is what the OP requires then I have aftermarket header sets in stainless or plenty stock cast ones. And a by the by "Where are my bolts" Steady Zeddy?????????????????????
  3. I will have all the above. Do you want to remain stock size for the pulley set? You will also require a belt kit which I have in stock sizes or any over or under sizes are available next day. What exactly do you mean by "header"? I am sure that I will have it in stock, but just calling it by a different name. Alex.

  7. OK, Michael as you now know, fitting of a replacement flywheel wronly appears to be an occuring issue with some garages. This should not really happen as firstly, most replacement flys do come with illustrated fitment instructions and common sense must prevail. With the Fidanza Fly you do have to be careful as there are two options for fitment. One is clearly marked FRONT for Maxima & Altima. The other is clearly marked REAR for 350Z, G35 & G37. On other applications available purely for RWD such as 350Z, G35 & C37 there is only one fitment application, so wrong fitment becomes almost impossible. This is the application that was sent to your garage and how they managed to fook up is totally beyond me. There is a male pin on the crank which slots into the female hole on the fly. simples. This has all to do with the CPS (crank position sensor) picking up the correct signal from the fly. It is so important that these types of cars are only worked on by specialists, however it is to your garage's credit that they have held there hands up and admitted the error of there ways. I have lost count of the number of garages (including Nissan Main Dealers) who have phoned me after fitting one of my fly/clutch kits with the usual: "I wonder if you can help me, but I have just fitted one of your clutch/fly kits and the car is not running right." The best advice that I can give you, in this instance Michael is to wait until you get the car back from them and judge then on the end product. If there are still issues then send in the cavalry. There is also now the added complication of the DE fly being different from the HR fly. I know of a well respected trader on this forum who ordered from me a HR fly and fitted it to a DE motor, of course the car would not start and they phoned me with there concerns and after a short conversation I was able to offer the solution. Moral of the story is that we all can make mistakes as every day is a school day Alex,
  8. All your pm's replied to Michael, so you now know the fix and what it will cost. As said previously this is a common issue and no blame should be made on the garage. Alex.

This must be the Daddy of all resurrections.
  13. Yes they are the correct part but they are aftermarket and extremely poor quality. I have seen these in person as the seller's premises are not to far from me. They are made in China if I remember correctly. If they were of decent quality then I would be stocking these and have them listed in my sub forum/Z store. Fit them at your peril
  14. I thought that I had already answered that question in reply to the pm that you sent me

  18. Bennett, I use the proper Nissan pressing tools mate. I bought most of the tools and what I don't have I borrow from Nissan. I also bought the proper Nissan press tool for replacing the front compression arm bushes as well, as it is so much easier and you get a far more professional finish to the job as well. I use similar bushes to what Adam at Z1 sells. I am also fortunate that I have a 30 ton industrial hydraulic press in the corner of the garage. Alex.
  19. i just emailed him that alex. john attacked me with a spanner when i went round one day taking the ****...he was trying to remove one of the subframe's bushings at the time You got off light then Chris as I had to put up with countless phone calls from John which basically all went like "There is bound be be a nucking easier nucking way to do this nucking job, I am going to kill that nucking greekman when I get a nucking hold of him as he told me that replacing the nucking bushes was a nucking stroll in the nucking park"
  20. Bennett, I do an exchange rear aluminium diff cradle with upgraded bushings providing your existing diff cradle is in good shape and the flats are still on the snail cam adjusters. Going the exchange route means that your downtime will only be 1 day instead of well over a week. Just add £650.00 onto the numbers that I gave you the other day mate. I usually have them good to go but I sold one in November 2010 and not had a chance to prepare another one so I don't have one good to go at the moment, as I have been extremely busy and as Chris has said it is a very time consuming job and certainly not the most pleasant of jobs. Also add on £70.00 for pallet shipping. Alex.
  21. PMs received and replied to.
  22. I would not think that you have been deliberately lied to. For a 350Z with a viscous diff and 6 speed manual gearbox then I would recommend and would only supply or fit the following: Nissan 75W85 API GL4+ fluid for the transmission. Nissan LSD 80W90 API GL5 for the viscous diff. Please note that the diff oil above is not suitable for true LSD applications. Alex.
