  1. Problem solved and you remain loyal to the brand. http://www.nissan.co.uk/GB/en/vehicle/electric-vehicles/leaf.html Seriously, if your budget is that tight then perhaps a 350 Z may not be for you as other running costs can be extremely high if you are unlucky. Alex.
  2. Be very careful with the jump start, if not carried out correctly can cause some serious damage to other electrics. Alex.
  3. Thanks Will: Andy, I have a 4.08 that I had set aside for my track 350, however due to a change of plan, I no longer require this as I have fitted a Kaaz 2 way LSD. The price would be be £500.00, and if of interest to you then just drop me a PM mate. Alex.
  4. Hi and to the forum. HR if you can afford it, would be my recommendation. Alex.

  13. Did you not do your research on reinforcing the turrets before you bought the coil overs ? I have schematics / drawings saved somewhere that I produced a few years back. I will have a look for them when I get back on Sunday. Alex.
  14. Considerable fabrication is required so get your welder out. Alex.
  15. Bin the Kinetix and stick on a Cosworth. I had the same issue with Kinetix and rewelded it all the way round, however it is so thin that you could shoot peas through it. Alex.
  16. If it aint broke, don't fix it. From the manual oil pressure check, what was the cold reading on start up ? Also what is the reading when hot from the manual oil pressure check at circa 3000 rpm ? Alex.
  17. Unfortunately the servicing dealer will not except liability, but what I am saying is that the missfire may be down to "bad" servicing so this should be looked at this first. ie: plug issue, coil pack issue, wrong grade/viscosity of oil which may be effecting the operation of the VVT. Before you start phoning around for prices, I would highly recommend that you get the car to a 350Z VQ35DE specialist for an informed diagnoses on the fault. I have plenty preowned low mileage VVT sprockets etc. in stock so that will save you considerable cash if they are required, however the teeth are not prone to wear on the sprockets. Regarding oil consumption, only you will know how much oil you are having to put in every 1000 miles. With respect, you are putting the cart before the horse, so unless you have money to burn, best to get a proper professional diagnoses from a specialist, which can be done without removing and stripping the engine. Regarding the chain kit, I can send you over a link where these can be purchased. Alex.
  18. NSTBs are only advisories and guides for Nissan garages and are not part of any warranty so have no "sell by date" Recalls are a bit different though, however there are no recalls on the PWMs. As has been said, try a reset. Alex.
  19. Well worth the effort. Get it up on a ramp and and sand blast the undercarriage and then spray with the rust treatments of your choice. Alex.
