  1. It is nice to say thank you to contributors for technical information provided.
  2. If you do not have the correct equipment to test a DMF then follow below. There are 4 stages. Stage 1 - 2 are visual inspections. bla, bla, bla. Step 3: With fly still fitted rotate the inner mass by hand anticlockwise and mark the flywheel then rotate it clockwise and measure the travel. Replace if movement is less than 15mm or more than 30mm. Step 4: Check for bearing play by rocking the inner mass from side to side. replace if movement is more than 2mm. The above is just general guidelines, however at 71K it will be fooked. Alex.
  3. Got one of these coming off my own 350 in a few weeks time. Just drop me a PM if I can help further. Alex.
  4. Any thing is possible, however I have never carried out such a modification. If it is purely for aesthetic purpose then why not just go for a cheap BBK.?
  5. Check out that grin: Looks great Niki.
  6. Not trying to crash a for sale thread, simply trying to assist the OP get a sale with constructive comments as it is obvious that there appears to be little interest as a package and as I have been down this route, I thought that I would share my experiences. I refrained from posting the price I sold mine for in the past as that would be detrimental to the OPs asking price. Tony, quite happy to give you that information by PM. Alex.
  7. It has been a while since I sold the same complete package that you have on offer as it is not a straight forward swop dropping the HR into a DE as you also require to swop out the radiator, condenser, front carbon composite front panel, hoses, and coolant tanks, air boxes etc. etc. You also have to fabricate some loom work. The last 2 HRs that I have dismantled I sold all the parts separately, bare block, engine ancillaries, gearbox, clutch, fly, loom, fuse boxes, keys, barrel, and ECU etc. Unless you find some one that requires the complete package, then unfortunately I think that you may struggle to find a buyer. Selling separately will take time, however I feel that is the only way to achieve the residuals that you are hoping for. Good luck. Alex.
  8. 1st ones are after market and the 2nd ones are genuine Brembo OEM. Both are Brembo fit.
  9. If kingrob can not help then just give me a shout. Alex.
  10. Are you aware that you can get a complete car for circa £3000.00. Just to be clear, only trying to help and perhaps a reconsideration of your asking price may expedite a sale.
  11. All parts are in stock and good to go same/ next day. Dismantling 4 x 350Zs at the moment. Alex.
  12. Thanks mate. OP: I am dismantling 4 x 350Zs at the moment.
  13. I can only assume that it is O ring unless there is some distortion or fracture.
  14. Water and or fluid contaminating the alternator is not a good plan. The PAS fluid may also be making the belt slip. Pre owned fully working alternators are in stock if required. Alex.
  15. It effects all cyls, not just 5 and 6. Remember that any slight indentation or unevenness on the tubes can cause a fluid leak. The tubes are easily replaced and only cost a few pounds.
