  1. 5w 40 is what I have always been told to use. Best of both worlds and for your brake fluid rbf600 always seems alot of money to me, you will be looking about 12-15 quid a bottle and as you require 3 bottles that 45 quid on brake fluid alone! I know its good but is it really worth 45 quid!
  2. Just for referance they are 501 style 5mm led's you require for side lights
  3. Mine is positively embarrassing on Idle and take up but the clutch bite is still nice and sharp. Seems to be a common trait in all zeds.
  4. You could by a Japanese Circumsized model.....
  5. Plus isnt the performance significantly dented?

    Bleeding Brakes

Not bleeding as is in the damn things but bleeding the fluid. Has anyone done the brembo setup on here and if so what is the best method... Heard that the old gravity type is a no no as air gets inside the ABS pump. Been looking at the MOTIVE power bleeder systems just trying to get peoples advice... or if anyone has a spare morning afternoon ..? I do make a stirling cup of tea! When bleeding twin nipple calipers I am under the impression you do the inner then the outer nipple obviously working in the order furthest from the Master Cylinder. Dan
  8. Thanks very much Chris. Still awaiting my cable I have ordered. Will let you know of the progress
  9. Im confused as to what cable you solder where. Guessing Red to RCH and White to LCH but what goes to A-GND. Help:teeth:
  10. just for interest, anybody got any idea's?
  11. I have often wondered how you change the JDM speedo to read in MPH, Who does this and how is it done?. Just for interest really Dan
  12. I have always been under the impression that if a part needs changing upgrade. Looks like you have a few toys on this already.
  13. I understand people using dealers if they have warrenty but I would much prefer to take my car to someone who appreciates it rather than just being another job on the calender. Even simple touches like taking my car to hiQ to have the wheels balanced, they were fighting it out on who was going to do it. and even cleaned all the rims up aswell. Top Job in my opinion. Nissan and most dealers, just follow the handbook, and are not through and through trained mechanics - or a thoroughly as many others in my opinion. The 350z is a nice car to work on so I dont know why they put up such a fuss! Dan
  14. In terms of pedal feel, the fluid certainly makes the largest difference but its all swings and roundabouts. Uprated fluid does give a better feel and higher operating temperature but required replacing sooner as it absorbs water alot more quickly. I would say replacing the brake lines should be done when for example you change the fluid. I wouldnt bother doing it as a one off mod and doing it for the sake of it.
  15. Exactly as it says on the title. I saw a 350z with them on and thought it looked very good. If you have done it how?
  16. Just after a few odd bits ... Passenger arm rest (the padded bit in leather/vinyl (I have ripped mine) 2 rear brembo brake hard lines (small curly 5" piece of hard pipe that sits between the caliper and flexy) Lower strut bolts to clamp the strut to lower control arm ... both sides. Cheers Dan - PM or email me if you have any available
  17. Cleaning product .... or put it towards a decent halfords pro socket set .... Worth its weight in gold in my opinion and the life time warrenty helps
  18. Sorry it wasnt the Nut head spec I was after more the thread pattern ... anyone any ideas?
  19. Does anybody know what spec the stock wheel nuts are on the 350z i.e m12 pitch 1.25 17mm head ...I believe its that could someone confirm. Regards Dan
  20. Im 'working' and on call tomorrow aswell
  21. Can I go against the trend?? ... Black spoiler and mirrors look like they just havent been painted ... and maybe the state of the pictures as its only a camera phone but are the wheels and roof a different style of black to the mirror's etc?
