Right a couple of questions please as on verge of buying a JDM import.... BOSE system - obv in jap radio frequencies, how does this effect in real world? Some of the jap cars dont come with Brembo's as i believe this was an option, do brembo's just bold straight on? Head rumours that the indicator stalk is on the right, is this true and do people change this or just get used to it? How common are MPH Speedo clocks, Most i have seen have had little black stickers put over the 'K' i like things to be right? Think thats everything .... Thanks in advance Dan

Right i hasve spent my days trawlin PH and Autotrader and visiting various garages to find my perfect zed. What i want: Azzure blue or pearl white Leather - a must, (not tan) subtle mods would be nice, i.e exhaust/wheels Manual Got circa 15,000 of the queens finest to play with. Any ideas or am i being too picky?

I understand the differences between the import JDM - What does JDM stand for, just out of interest) and the UK and i can read this till im blue in the face. But does these changes in sus setup really make that much of a difference, is it purely the the shocks and springs? or is other factors - because in all honesty one of the first things i change on a car is the sus anyway. Also any other real world difference i.e not worrying about what shape the number plate is- i.e not worried about cosmetics and all that jazz more the feel of the car? Hi, Not owning a 'zed' yet but looking to buy very soon i am after some advice. I am not new to car ownship/tinkering so know my way around an engine so to speak but coming from a coughfrenchcough (not sure what the swearing policy is on this forum so thought i would hide the woulds in cough), background i dont know the in's and outs of the beast. My first questions, (im sure there will be many more to follow) are ... What should i be looking out for on the cars', known problem areas etc as i will be buying an earlier model initially? What things should i definiately get with the car, in terms of worth while optional extras? Any responces would be great and i look forward to becoming a regular on this forum. Cheers Dan
