  1. See, I'm okay with this one Truth is, flat earth opens up far more questions than it ever answers. Davey has his beliefs that are very much rooted in what humans used to believe in hundreds of years ago back when we thought we could treat all illnesses with leeches, and most of those thoughts based in just that: Belief. There's zero evidence to support a lot of what he believes to be true, yet he still chooses to do so. I can't have a serious and genuine intellectual conversation with someone who thinks like that, and whilst I admire a lot of you (especially Col and Stevo) for carrying this thread on with reasoned debate, ultimately you're on a hiding to nothing. Davey, as I've said before you're a lovely guy and anything non-religious and non-scientific then I'm happy to treat you like a brother, but on this I have to take a step back for the sake of everyone. My posts on here of late have become flippant simply due to the fact I find your replies/questions obtuse and misleading, and whilst I'm certainly open to the idea of questioning everything sometimes a blinkered response caused by religious beliefs closes your mind off to what could actually be the truth. I respect that you have different beliefs to me, but whereas I can accept that new ideas may well cause me to give second thought to previously upheld truths (so let's use the Higg's Boson or even Hawking's ideas), I very much doubt that anything anyone in the world will ever say to you could change your spiritual beliefs to the point where you question them. But that's okay. We don't all have to think the same, and whilst it would be very easy of me to make a ridiculously sarcastic comment here I choose not to, out of respect. What I will say is that I genuinely hope and believe that one day all of mankind will open their minds to what is in front of them, and not look back to the past for guidance. Ironically the sooner we question everything (and I mean everything), the quicker we can all move on and look to the future.
  2. Well, I’m convinced now, that’s conclusive evidence to me. Flat earth ftw.
  3. Exactly. It’s not going to be anything near as exciting/interesting as we’d want, which is a massive shame.

Honestly, unless you're planning on serious head work, cams etc then it doesn't make any difference. Anything other than stock will see an improvement, it just matters on what you want it to look like and how deep your pockets are.
  7. I buy a car for how it drives, not what it looks like. Driver, not poser

    Single or dual

Well it’s not, but it’s less restrictive and my OCD prefers one either side

With track day limits in mind, aim for as quiet as possible. You’d be better off running two setups, one for the track (OEM) and one for the road (whatever you like). Best of both worlds that way.
  10. Glorified hatchback? Exterior looks aside, it knocks spots off the 370 in absolutely every department. But then so it should, as it’s not ten years old.
  11. Surely the ISS is fake news? I mean, how can it be orbiting a flat earth...
  12. Really not worth the bother. Move on, life’s too short.

    Single or dual

Best? Lightest and least restrictive, so arguably a true dual would be best. However, you’re talking fractions and tbh I’d just get the one you like the look and sound of. By all means spend £2k on a titanium job if you can afford it, but otherwise there’s not a lot in it really.
  14. What a load of clickbaiting nonsense that article is.

  16. The key word was ‘rhetorical’.
  17. Yes... BMW... Yes... The dark side is this way...
  18. Agreed. It’s good we’re seeing plenty of new EVs coming, but I’m very concerned we’re not seeing any substantial increase in network capability for charging, both at home and more significantly on the road. I know you need demand first, but it’s quite clear now that many (if not all) manufacturers are progressing rapidly with RVs so where’s the infrastructure? It’s more a rhetoric question than anything.
  19. Well, in fairness that is wider, so I guess I got what I asked for I'm only being a pest as I can't decide whether I absolutely adore that, or it's too much with the wheels. I think the former though. Massively '90s in style, which gets the seal of approval from my ageing bones anyway
  20. Then can I borrow her?!
  21. The one where you say to her that when she starts paying for the cars herself, she gets to choose what she drives round in?
  22. There you go then, smaller motor and limit the throttle. Job done.

    Ring pile up

https://www.bridgetogantry.com/video-watch-that-14-car-pile-up-from-a-new-angle-and-try-your-best-to-heed-the-advice/ Still wanna drive the Ring with no insurance?
  24. Needs a wider shot to really see it.
  25. What we really need is more EVs focused on range, rather than power. EVs make perfect sense as commuting vehicles, so why not play to their strengths? Build a car with 0-60 of 7secs and a range of 500 miles, not one of 3.5secs and 250.
