  1. Be careful which ones you buy, EU use different frequencies to the UK and it's very naughty to be using the wrong frequencies out there. I don't have the details to hand, but I'm sure a quick Google will bring them up.
  2. Whichever is cheaper, I'd say there's nothing in it. If it were my money though, K&N.

    P3 Service?

5 years old, I'd definitely do the plugs.
  4. You ain't kidding, these next 1.5 days of work are going to drag like buggery.
  5. HBTY HBTY HBDD HBTY
  6. 2 Days To Go Clean car is clean! Check out the metallic flake baby! Since it's going to bucket down tomorrow when I take her to get the geo done, that's also the cleanest she'll be for the next fortnight Have also packed most of what I need to take barring clothes, so I think I'm set.
  7. Easy one. RE050A have less grip than MPSS. You're driving like you've still got MPSS on, which you haven't, so when you're putting the power down there's less grip available and you're spinning the rears up or otherwise making them slip/slide. Either that, or a sensor has been damaged when changing the tyres.
  8. Excellent job matey
  9. You either need to do a bit of soldering with the Bose hack (see the guide in the ICE section) or replace the whole head unit (better idea, guides are also in the ICE section).
  10. How much wear on the fronts?
  11. Find the car you want, then buy it then and there. I don't buy into this whole time of day/month/year nonsense, I just find a car I want at a price I'm happy paying and go from there. Saving a couple of hundred quid is nothing over the lifetime of the car, and I'd rather get the one I want rather than one I find okay. Of course, some people get really lucky and get both, never happened to me yet though!
  12. Any reason you didn't put the amazing MPSS back on the rear? They're the same price as the RE050A. But yeah, mixed tyres. And I wasn't even the first one to say it this time!
  13. If you're doing the clutch, do the lightened flywheel too. It's a no brainer, it really is.

    Well, it would drive better
  15. 5w40 would be my choice I think, you don't really want to raise the cold weight as much as make it a bit thicker when very warm due to the extra power. Your man from Opie Oils would be a good person to speak to on this, I'd drop oilman a line or post in their section if I were you.
  16. Nope, never. Torque helps if you want to do this, but at the expense of your clutch.

Hussy CGI looks a bit naff, but I still can't wait to see this, it's going to be ace
  18. As long as the gauge is somewhere between zero and whatever the max is, and you've checked the oil level is correct in the engine, it'll be fine.
  19. Nope! First one I've missed for ages. Anyway, I've had a bit more success now after my last post and the seats are now out and the car is about 70% clean. Just need to do the interior and put a few more coats of wax on then it's done, and I can start packing,
  20. Christ almighty you really cannot take a hint, can you? Look, I personally think you are now being a massive bellend about this whole thing, and are coming across like a petulant child who thinks he should always get his own way. If you can give one solid reason why you should be the exception to the rule, then please enlighten me, else would you be a good chap and bugger off and leave the grown ups to it?
  21. Yes because since day one I was a moaning troll on this forum. I'm sure there will be someone reading this thread that genuinely can see where I'm coming from. I can see where you're coming from. You don't like the rules, so you're having a public whinge on the pretence that it's for the good of the forum. Fair play for sticking around for so long and taking the ear bashing you're getting, but I'm not sure what you hope to achieve.
  22. Anyone else notice that the school half term starts just as this thread pops up?
  23. There's always next year bud Car stuff I've done so far today:
