  1. T1Rs are awful on track, they'll melt within the first session. Ghastly things to use on track. Chuck the MPSS on a credit card and pay it off next month.
  2. Air in the clutch line. Needs bleeding again. It's a bitch of a job!
  3. Just do the controls in the first place. You will definitely need the fascia.
  4. I spent all weekend driving instead 8) Good drive out yesterday in the MR2, and then up at 5am today to get some fast empty road driving done in the 911. Quick nap when I got back and I'm good to go.
  5. No, they have a 5% chance of either IMS or bore scoring probs.
  6. Looks right to me. At least, that's all I ever used on mine.
  7. That's a manly cup of Ribena you've got there Steve
  8. That does seem a bit high. You've probably gotten away without having any damage, but definitely worth treble checking any oil levels in the future.
  9. Ah, I did wonder that after I'd written the post. If that's the case, definitely get them to add weights to the seat when doing it.
  10. What's a quart in proper money? How close to a litre?
  11. Set the springs and dampers up the same both sides. You could do a full setup with a set of weights on the seat to simulate your weight, but you'd really want to do that in conjunction with a full geo. I'm guessing that's already been done so need to worry about that any more, but remember that adjusting the ride height from this point can have massive effects on the camber so you may need another alignment if you decide to raise or lower the car again.
  12. Abbey MS, RS Tuning, Horsham Dev... Pick the closest
  13. Nope, not a sausage. ECU will throttle back performance to account for it. Uprev time for you!
  14. My review of all bits here might be of interest /thread_hijack
  15. Any fuel that meets BS7800 will be fine. No app that I know of for everything, but it's not hard to figure out which pump is super and which isn't. Just keep a bottle of octane booster in the boot in case you ever get caught out (like in the wilderness in the highlands).
  16. @Kyle I did it before anything else, but only did ARBs afterwards suspension-wise. Bracing made the most difference, ARBs gave me more adjustability allowing for finer control. I also did bits of the bracing at a time, the rear bar was a hoot as it made the rear end very lively
  17. Latter are better, but that's not saying much.
  18. Summit Bracing is amazing, made a massive difference to mine. That whole setup you've got there can't have been cheap, but I bet that's worth every penny. Great choice of bits too
  19. It's not fake on the BRZ86, it's a proper pipe running from intake to the a-pillar. It's just too over done IMHO, so loud it actually sounds fake.
  20. Which is why most owners have the OPC warranty, available on cars up to 10 years old. £1k a year, give or take.
  21. True, but http://www.fantasyracers.com is free First link I found in Google, no idea if it's any good! Good idea though, might be fun if a few of us do it
  22. Dafuq I'm not paying £10 to enter that!
  23. Much less percentage, much higher cost. 5% and £8K is nearer the money. High mileage is better than low.
