  1. Great idea on the sticker mate, looks brilliant Car wouldn't gain horsepower, but you could feel like you have due to less crap in the block so less frictional losses. Same effect as lightweight flywheel.
  2. Proper dB meter with the correct weighting (A, isn't it?), at 0.5M and 45deg from tip at 3/4 max RPM.
  3. Cayman servicing is the same price as the Zed. http://porscheowners...icing/?model=55 Bearing in mind that's once every two years/20K miles. Parts are comparable on costs, much better on fuel. How much more can a good 987 lose? Europa is a good car, but would you consider an Elise as an every day car? I owned one, and loved it, and I wouldn't. Europa is really not that much better. 6-series is ace. Loved the M6, never driven a common or garden one though. Supra = chav.
  4. Now imagine what happens when you have an issue with them and need to get them taken back... Take the hint, they don't want your business so don't give it to them.
  5. Oh god I'd never noticed that, now it annoys me too I've got massive OCD issues over the daftest of things, I guess I'd better add this to my list now!
  6. You really have to be a very special kind of special to want this. Jesus titty f*cking christ.
  7. Stock cat and y-pipe + K1 was coming out at 104dB. I cannot believe this would be any quieter. If you have a loud exhaust, you have a duty to quieten it down before going near a track for the sake of us all.
  8. Tyre is a piece of cake to use, as it's the same UI as Google maps.
  9. Drive as safe as you want, it's irrelevant if others are driving like utter d*ckheads. Not saying for one moment it's not important to drive with due care and attention, but you can only do so much.
  10. Now that's just crazy talk! Although it does prove my plan of world domination by mutual consent is working. Slowly.
  11. Yay, I wasn't the first person to suggest the obvious choice! This Cayman S is very purdy
  12. Apart from the gorgeous seats, you're right. It's a total mess inside, but chuck a couple of grand at a good leather upholsterer and replace the awful stereo and I think it would be okay.
  13. HBTY HBTY HBDI HBTY
  14. Trust me, they were better on the Zed than on the MR2!
  15. Do that many people actually use headsets? I just assumed that they were mostly used by sad lonely kiddies who locked themselves in their bedroom because mummy and daddy wouldn't let them use the big telly for their games I just hope this update fixes the black screen start-up issue I've been having since the last update. It's not a common fault, but I know a few people who have had it.
  16. Z4M.
  17. FWD/RWD/4X4, not bothered? Hatch, coupe, saloon? Seats? Doors? Engine? Fuel?
  18. What's the list of must/must nots?
  19. Broadly I agree with the 2psi rule, however more people change tyre make and model than size, and most don't realise that pressure is governed by sidewall strength along with various other factors, as well as what you want the car to do with regards to handling traits. Were the 17"s 040s as well? I've no idea, never seen the OEM tyres for that size.
  20. Hand back your driving licence for the sake of us all, there's a good chap. ;)
  21. Pressures don't change on tyre size, they change on the tyre compound and the handling traits required.
  22. I believe so. Or near enough as makes no difference.
  23. Right, basically someone has fitted cheap-ass caps to your valves that have seized on. Now you have to go to a tyre fitters, get them cut off and new ones put on. I still don't get what you're measuring.
  24. Check alignment, and drop a couple of psi all round.
  25. Wait, what are you doing? Or trying to do? Remove valve cap. Pump up to 35psi, as indicated on pump gauge. Replace cap. It's the easiest thing in the world to do on cars, except filling the fuel tank.
