  1. Well, you'll want the front calipers too for a start
  2. It's a 320d auto. I wouldn't expect much pull really, it's aimed at the repmobile market so you'll get great economy but performance will be lacking. Lots of toys should make the cruise a comfy one though
  3. Not the first person to lose it there, guy on here did the same thing last year. Same with every track, worst place to have an incident is on the pit straight because there is always a wall there. Ironically if he'd not steered into the slide to correct, it probably would would've spun on the spot and not touched the grass at all. This is why I run a £2k shed as a track car, just in case. Was he insured do you know? Remember kids, if you're going to touch the grass always do it in a straight line, never at an angle.
  4. Nothing wrong from Nico that I could see, and I'm a Lewis fan. One of those things.
  5. Bloody soaked! Good day though, the modern classic F1 cars were ace as expected but I enjoyed the Can-Am stuff more. Proper racing, and you can stand so much closer at Brands than anywhere else.
  6. From the small amount of research I've done into this, it would appear that it doesn't work once you put any load into the engine. Which is a shame.
  7. So, who wants my house then?
  8. I'm going to sticker-bomb your car if I see it Will
  9. Are you guys not confusing realistic dream car with dream car?
  10. 911 was always my dream car, so that box is ticked now. Even if money was no object, there isn't anything I'd swap it for. Sad, I know.
  11. I'm going tomorrow via hospitality, may go back Sunday if the weather is okay though.
  12. You'll throw your first attempts away, so start with something small. But not too small, as then it's too easy and you can get over-confident.
  13. I buy from the interweb, and my local places charges me £50 to fit. I find that to be very fair, and I still save money whilst getting excellent customer service.
  14. I think the individual needs to make a decision themselves as to what they want to run, and should never feel pressurised into putting something on their car just because everyone else is. I can (and do!) give my opinion and more importantly, my reasons, for the decisions I make. If a person reads that and disagrees then as long as they do that with knowledge then that's fine. Like I said, I ran cheapy cheapies on the MX5 for a specific reason, and I was fully aware of my choice. I also learnt my lesson, and it's why the MR2 now runs 888s.
  15. Lol did I actually say that at some point??!!
  16. "Grundy is that special kind of person you always keep around, just to make you feel superior" Any good?
  17. The next AC is next-gen only, too. Although so was InFamous, Forza, Ryse, Resogun etc.
  18. Frickin' legend, that's me GLOL at Matt's sig
  19. I'd take the Kumhos, out of the two options. Good tyres are important for when the unexpected happens, not for pootling along in a straight line.
  20. Given that there is a 'major' Nismo event and announcement on tomorrow in central London (see PH), I'll put my house on it being the UK launch of this. They didn't spend that much money on a complete refresh to simply launch it in just one territory.
  21. The simple answer is to go and buy a GoPro or similar. You need to reduce the weight to an absolute minimum, and whilst you could spend hundreds of dollars on different mounts, you're never going to fight the laws of physics. That is using VERY stiff track-biased suspension, with solid engine mounts so the car rattles and shakes like a biatch. The camera was mounted directly the to harness bar, which is in turn attached straight to the chassis. No wobble or shake at all. It'll do 1080p @60fps all day long, and most professionals are now using these for their work (Harris and the DRIVE team, Evo et al) so they're definitely good enough. No zoom, granted, but you can change the angle from wide to medium to narrow, which helps. You cannot really zoom whilst on the move any way, so how important is that? You can connect it up to the 12v supply so will run 24/7, or you add a couple of bigger batteries. No biggie. Bite the bullet, and make the change.
  22. It's not young drivers, it's inexperienced drivers. You could pass your test at 65 and still have to wait two years until you can start racking the points up.
  23. I suspect that's from a legit source then
