  1. That's a ten year old TV. It doesn't even allow 1080p. Seriously, you've just spent £330 on a brand new, cutting edge console: Go and buy a TV to go with it. Very quick search, but even this would be better. It's like buying a 3.8L GTR engine and trying to stuff it into a bog standard Austin Allegro. Sure, fun for a bit, but you'll soon hit the limitations of the underlying base and wish you'd connected it to something a bit more modern.
  2. I never use any company who chooses to use CityLink. I'd rather pay twice as much than risk getting stuck with that shower of sh*t. I always use Parcelforce, and have never had an issue. I know they're not perfect, but DPD don't have a depot near me else I'd use them. DPD are by far and away the best courier company out there right now.
  3. Well, if that's the case then they broke the contract, so you're entitled to your money back but not really a whole lot else sadly. It's irritating, but I'd either write a formal letter to them or never use them again. Which company was it?
  4. That's why he has silly power Great to see this almost back in action Alex
  5. What's the loss you're claiming for? What does the contract you signed/agreed to say with regards to when it will be collected? What documentation do you have saying it will be collected on that date?
  6. What input do you have on the TV? VGA or component? Personally, I'd just buy a new TV, that one must be ancient or tiny to not have HDMI.
  7. Sad, isn't it
  8. Oh I absolutely agree, if I wanted a bigger car I'd get one, rather than buy a small car with some bodywork attached to it Golf in itself is a very steady car, whilst I don't really get excited by them they do do everything very well.
  9. No probs, I didn't know myself until about 2 years ago when someone mentioned it elsewhere on the interweb, and I then rushed to go look it up
  10. Is it not the exact same car, barring the boot? Like the Focus hatch and Focus saloon?
  11. Boost threshold is the point in the rev range at which it starts making boost, lag is when you lift your foot off the gas and then plant it, and how long it takes to spool up again.
  12. ^^^ That. Most people don't know the difference. Not saying that Doc doesn't though, he's one of the more knowledge guys I know!
  13. It's much better than AC3, but not a patch on AC2. The introduction of guns and boats just ruins it for me, I much preferred the simplicity of the original games. Hopefully they'll do some older time periods now, as the boat stuff is getting really tedious. EDIT By now, I mean after Unity of course.

Does your head not get hot under that tinfoil hat?
  15. Not on consoles, we won't Looks an interesting idea, but I doubt it'll be any good long term. Or even get out of the alpha build.
  16. You have a 100%, cast iron guaranteed contract. They have broken that contract. You can sue for damages, but that's it.
  17. Realistically, there's nothing you can do. You could go and find a car somewhere else and sue them for the difference, but in all honesty it'll just cost you more. Move on, and name & shame.
  18. 10,000 posts. 100,000 smileys.
  19. Andy Walsh, Car Limits. Top bloke, he'll help you out. Let me guess, you got caught out by the camber change on the last left of Craners, which spat you out across the old hairpin? Nearly did that myself a few times on Saturday!
  20. I bought Ryse on Day One for the Xbone And yeah, I enjoyed it too. It's not exactly deep, but it's pretty and it's mindless fun, which is exactly what I expected of it.
  21. Focus? Personally I'd ignore the 70k miles mark, at that end of the market you buy on condition not miles.
  22. I think you could well be right, I wonder if I'll be able to tell any of the suspension changes though? Probably not unless they're driven back to back.
  23. You might as well just post the links mate, all these pics are making the thread a nightmare to view on mobile devices.
  24. Not really, you're still miles within the stock limits on OEM injectors and MAF.
