  1. Everything's repairable, if you have the cash. I think you'll lose the CF finish on it though, if you want a proper job with no blending in on the lip. They look like those horrible LED DRL things, yes. There's a fair few quid there in terms of repair, I reckon probably a couple of hundred quid at least is you assume it'll need a respray as all bumpers tend to.
  2. I've not even touched them yet either, I don't think they're going to be something that I'll get to until I've done everything else. We tried Cadwell in F1 cars after you left yesterday Will, that was 'interesting'...! Also the lag on those Lotus 98T is just insane, we all thought the cars were broken as we tried to get off the line until the turbo kicked in yo, then we all spun off straight away
  3. I've had to put the line on for now, too.
  4. This is insane in MP, just got DQ'd for hitting another player, all I was trying to do was turn around
  5. It cannot ever add bhp. Go and put 15 bags of sugar in the car and see if you can tell the difference. If you can then great, strip it out! If not, then don't bother.
  6. Mine is in the garage now, but it used to live on the road. Or the drive, depending on what I needed to use next. If you're going to share a car, please draw up an agreement on who pays for what if the other person writes it off on the first corner.
  7. It's like having a huge credit card bill. You can either suck up not having a lot and pay it off quickly, or go to a payday lender to pay it off then get hit with massive interest charges then borrow some more to pay that off then pay a f*ckton more in the long run. Cuts suck. No doubt about it. Having a country in debt for much longer sucks more, IMHO.
  8. How much other weight have you removed from the car? Unless the answer is everything, then this isn't a good idea.
  9. I wouldn't p*ss on him if he was on fire.
  10. Private sector was hit first and hardest. We just recovered quicker.
  11. No vote, no right to complain. What I think people don't realise is that whoever got in last time HAD to make cuts: There was literally no other choice. Putting aside any bias I have, even I have to admit that we probably wouldn't be any worse off now if Labour had stayed in power last term. It was going to be sh*t regardless, but tbh it's been less sh*t than I thought it might be. Bearing in mind my wife is a teacher, so I've seen first hand the issues the public sector as well as the view from a small business owner, I think that they've done a pretty good job. What I will say is that there are no longer any excuses: They wanted a 10 year term, they've now got it, so if things aren't rosy the other side then I'll be the first to shout them down.
  12. Credit card will count for nothing, he's not a trader. Your 'protection' is PayPal only.
  13. Always take the fun car. Always. And always sticker it up, too! Traffic will be murder on Fri, Sat and Sun around the circuit, but otherwise it's not too bad. When are you getting there?
  14. I'm very happy to be proved wrong Shame that Farage and Clegg have gone, politics will be poorer without them.
  15. Had to laugh at Miliband losing his Balls, must be painful for him I voted against PR when we had the referendum, but even I have to admit it's looking a bit silly now we have so many parties in the mix.
  16. He should've gone 24 months ago...
  17. It's a very heavy 4WD car, so it's going to be hard on brakes and tyres regardless. Expect to pay around £800 for tyres per year, budget £1K for servicing (don't forget early cars needed 2x services a year IIRC), fuel usage is going to be higher than what you're paying now, and mods of course have the GT-R tax on them. Have a look at what gearbox work costs as well, just in case that goes wrong as that's going to be the biggest risk for you in terms of unknowns. Maybe £2k? That's not to say the C63 will be much better, though!
  18. Well, that's not what I expected to wake up to this morning. Where on earth did a possible Tory majority come from?!
  19. What colour is that? And no-one say green!
  20. Perfect. Well, I need to play with the FF settings a bit as I'd like a bit more resistance, but aside from that I've gelled very, very quickly. No way in hell I'd be quicker with a pad on this!
  21. Yeah, they're rubbish without a flag on
  22. Thrustmaster TX with TH8A shifter and T3PA pedals, with the Ferrari GTE wheel. It's a beautiful setup, albeit a pricey one. So worth it though.
  23. BWAHAHAHAHAHA PROJECT CARS IS BRILLIANT!!! :D :D Got the controls sorted now (triggers are on the pedals), so set the car up as I would have it in real life and it's just amazing. The practice/qualy/race format is mint, I absolutely love it! It's such a buzz when you underfill your car with fuel to try and make the pace up, then get it massively wrong and have to manage your fuel through the race. I'm starting my career in the Formula Rookie class, first race was at Oulton. The AI is a bit reckless during qualifying and tbh I could've done with cranking the difficulty up from 50 as I mullered them by 4.5 secs a lap. That's with just ABS and the racing line on, else I lock up everywhere and it's impossible to see the corners when the sun is in your eyes during an evening race. I tried Le Mans in a storm in the Ruf GT3, man that's just horrible to drive. We should totally set up a proper championship with this, it'll be perfect for it. I had a quick online race which was good fun, one knobhead smashed me off but the other guys waited which was decent of them. I'm sorry for ever doubting this, I really am.
  24. Cannot believe for one second those exit polls are correct, not in a million years.
