  1. Almost 100% it will. The BBC's new guidelines pretty much dictate that. Possibly a black guy too, to make sure that everyone feels included. It will be three big names though, as the brand is too important to risk unknowns like Harris or Ford.
  2. They'll reschedule, but I wouldn't expect it for a while. They're back in the EU in November, so they might get tacked on to the end of that IF the dates are free at the venues as well, and other various logistical issues. Next year is probably more reasonable to expect, bearing in mind they have US dates to do as well in July which might be cancelled and need rescheduling too...
  3. You do know who Chris Evans is, right? The guy who made his name in irreverant light entertainment, and then brought new life to the Radio 2 Breakfast Show which is now more successful than it's ever been? He's done everything from DFYT and TGI for the young 'uns, right up to proving himself a worthy successor to Terry Wogan and keeping the older generation happy. If he cannot do it, then it cannot be done. Also, he knobbed Rose from Dr Who, which automatically makes him a bit of a legend.
  4. Which is odd, as the iPhone corrects iphone to iPhone automatically.
  5. Not with a rubbish thread title, no!
  6. He's the only person in the world who could save it. Hell, even I might watch it again now!

  8. HPI checks are not infallible. They're a good guide, and certainly very helpful, but ultimately it's just one of a few checks a potential buyer can/should do. Just because a car was Cat A-D doesn't mean it's a death trap. Yes it will negatively affect values, but how many cars out there that get damaged to the point where they would be a Cat C, are then repaired to a very high standard by their owner? Most people would find nothing wrong with that. In short, don't assume that because a HPI check is clear that the car is perfect.
  9. There's the right answer, and the real world answer. The right answer is that they should've warned you about any other issues there may have been following the original repair, and the fact they didn't and that it's now more broken means they should take responsibility for that. The real world answer caveats that with the fact they may technically be right, and that they did do what you asked them to (replace the cracked screen, I assume) and you could've dropped it again after you picked it up. Did you test it in front of them in the shop? Was that even an option? You could argue in court that you deserve a refund if the screen has been fitted incorrectly, but there's no guarantee that you'd win as I suspect they'll bluff their way through with technobabble and leave you nowhere to go. I would, if I were them. Take it somewhere else, see what they say and if it's fixable, and then get it done there. Write the other lot off as a bad experience and tell as many folks as you can, IF it's proven it was their fault. I suspect they get a lot of people coming back in with these 'issues' that have developed again, so they're just arguing their corner to avoid being taken advantage of. It's not the answer you want to hear, but if I'm honest I don't think I'd waste my time arguing it. Maybe go back in once more, be really nice and then if they still don't budge stand outside all day and show/tell everyone who walks in what they did
  10. It's kind of just fixed itself, I have no idea what I actually did Sounds like you're having some issues, did you go for the 2ZZ swap in the end?
  11. It will take forever to do that, plus how do you get the multimeter to both ends? Pop an RJ45 on each end, use the tester. It's the best, easiest and quickest way.
  12. It lives! Brakes are okay now, took it out for a blat the other week and had mucho fun, need to book another TD up soon methinks. How you getting on with yours?
  13. If you want the pinnacle of motorsport, look to the WEC. Le Mans in a P2 or a Ferrari would be an amazing experience. DTM is a good shout, too.
  14. It's a massively compromised design, based purely on getting Nissan noticed for media reasons IMHO. The aero just doesn't work, and the basis of FF design was to get the weight over the nose to help with the turn-in, which as far as I can see didn't work at all as they were tippy-toeing through even the sweeping corners where the LMP cars should excel. It also sounded like a bag of nails. I can see Nissan getting bored with this project before it gets to the point of working, then letting Bowlby take the design elsewhere again. It looks so very cool, but there's a reason that no-one races FF prototype cars...
  15. I think I'm still drunk after Friday's shenanigans Great racing, worthy winners in all classes, I love it here.
  16. The Nismo GT-R is a total shambles. So slow through the corners, the bloody GTE cars are quicker! It's a dog of a car, it really is.
  17. Porker pole with the lap record They are so much quicker than Audi, if they don't do it this year then I've no idea when.
  18. They're running in the 2MJ class, with zero power to the rear. Utter f*cking engineering shambles. On the upside, it's red hot here and I have cold beer
  19. Definitely A, I wouldn't want someone who puts all their eggs in one basket. Good luck matey!
  20. Bloody hell, it's like the thread of over-reaction in here. Marzman has it spot-on, it's a cooling problem above all. Poor warming up and cooling down massively contributes too. If any engine is using 1L/1000k, I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. Fingers crossed the warranty company comes good for you mate
  21. CBW first as it gets very busy, then nip off and drive the Mulsanne from TR, right down to the Porsche Curves. Looks like Porsche have the 1-2-3, given that it's due to p*ss it down at qualy tonight. Nissan LMP1s are nowhere, they look utterly hopeless and embarrassing the GT-R name. So slow out of the pits!
  22. No brainer then, get one of those.
  23. Do Brodit do a clip for the Zed? I use one in the 645 for my 6+ with a case on and it's utterly superb.
