  1. Ouch, that's not cheap at all is it? Can you not find a German Zed forum, ask for the details of a local garage in Koblenz, then arrange for the car to be taken there to be fixed for less? Or (and I like this idea), find out the cost of a master cylinder change at Nissan dealer in the UK, then tell the Germans you're happy for them to fix it but will only pay the price that you've been quoted in the UK? Can copy Nissan GB and Nissan Germany into the email chain too, just for lols. The trouble is, how much ballache do you want to go through and then how much more are you going to save by faffing around? Oh, and get the slave cylinder done at the same time, labour is the same so you should only pay for the part really.
  2. What am I missing here? Low miles = Check. GT4 = Check. According to posts over the last couple of years, that's the exact car that should be selling for a premium. I point out that neither low miles nor GT4 is worth a premium (although the yellow is stunning and worth paying a bit more for, tbh) and I get shot down as a hater. Far be it from me to worry about a few angry words on the internet, but sometimes this place drives me utterly bonkers If somebody wants a collectible 350, that's it right there, surely?
  3. Unlikely to be badged a Z car I would think, but certainly makes sense. Either we get a 2-door RWD coupe with a small 4-pot turbo engine that will sell about 5 cars a year, or we get a crossover car with the same engines and 4x4 that will sell millions. The affordable but fast coupe as we know it is dead: You either go slower like the BRZ86, or you spend more and get a TT/Z4/Cayman. End of an era folks, end of an era.
  4. Bugger That's a real shame, would've been nice if they'd been a competitor to the 888s.
  5. Yes, I know exactly how, but given that you refused a few months ago to share a nice driving route with me I shall keep it to myself. #karma I'm sure someone will be along to tell you how to do it soon enough, anyway. I just wanted to get that out there, 'cos I hold grudges for aaaaaaaages.

    what are these?!

I've looked at so many wheels this week, my head hurts!
  7. Pins don't score pistons, rappers do. Wait, that's not how that song goes...

    what are these?!

    Grey ones! /not_helpful
  9. Another convert! Soon the Church Of MPSS will have a full congregation!
  10. Didn't know you can get black ones, that would make a massive difference on mine. Cheers dude!
  11. No issues at all, as long as it's not done intentionally. That's kinda how insurance works in general
  12. REIS are excellent, Mary used to deal with my cars for me, ask for her if you can.
  13. On a more helpful note from me, by posting up in public that you didn't declare mods to the insurance company, you're risking them not paying out. It may well be better for you if this thread disappears.
  14. I wouldn't worry about it either.
  15. I haven't even begun to be harsh. That was me holding back. Glad you've learned your lesson, but I won't apologise for my words. Everything I said was the truth, and in this case I do know best. If me being a tad 'rude' gets the message over and you think I'm a dick, that's a price I can live with tbh. FWIW, I drove mine with TCS off too. However, my driving style was adjusted to compensate and I had decent rubber on. That's not me having a go, more to say that we're probably more alike than you realise in how we like our cars Good luck in the future, I've said my piece so no more lectures, promise! So what was the limit on that road?
  16. Well i assume u never made mistakes in your life congrats, ok the TCS should be on thats right but i passed so many bends n worse roads tonight n i didnt had any issues plus that was on a straight line, 5 min away from work, couldnt expect that but well is to late, regarding to speeding u might think i was going like 70/90 miles p/h when it wasnt, max 50 if i did as i didnt check, as i just pressed hard at that time n i was unlucky, ok they aint good tyres but still had good tread, u can think whatever u want but im not the type of driver u think i am, but not here to argue, have more things to worry about. Enviado do meu SM-G925F através de Tapatalk One mistake? Two? Three even? Yeah. Eight? Nope. Pretty sure I've never made eight mistakes at once. Well, except that one night in Bangkok, but we don't talk about that. You weren't unlucky, you were driving like a dick. You were lucky you didn't kill yourself or others. Nail a Zed in third at 40-50 and nowt much happens, unless you've made a catalogue of errors before hand. Like you did. Until you admit that you were being a bit of a knob, you'll never learn from your mistakes. I binned a car two years ago, there's a thread on here where I talk about it. Biggest cause of the accident? Me. I wasn't unlucky, I clearly made an error, but it was only the one. What's the limit on that road, btw? Maybe that'll knock one mistake off your list, at least.
  17. So in short: In a relatively new car Crap weather conditions TCS off Speeding? At the very least massively inappropriate speed for the road Accelerating hard Cheap tyres on Same size tyres all round on Didn't declare the mods so possibly uninsured Tbh, sometimes I'm a little harsh with people on here over relatively trivial things. However, in this case, I'm fairly comfortable in making the assumption that you're an absolute, cast-iron, weapons grade muppet. I'll stop short of wishing you harm as that's not nice, but you could've caused someone else some serious damage by driving like that. Try and have a little common sense next time, you're damn lucky to still be on this planet and not in a morgue or a police station. Four years old, still worth a read in my humble opinion
  18. Is that still a chrome window surround? Or is it black? What colour have you got on the M6?
  19. So a different Z and the wrong colour? Apart from that it's perfect!
  20. Not sure you can. The whole badge can't be more than a few quid from Nissan, though. There's one on eBay, £24 from the US: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/09-10-11-12-13-14-15-NISSAN-370Z-Z-REAR-LID-EMBLEM-LOGO-BADGE-SIGN-SYMBOL-OEM-1-/291528092285?hash=item43e06daa7d
  21. I just replaced the rear boxes on mine, made a massive difference. I still might lose another one of the two remaining silencers for more growl. Did it have the Dynamic Drive option? That was great on the manual cab I've tried, but like you say you can definitely feel the extra weight.
  22. Good point, I hadn't thought about using my wheel setup and streaming that way!
  23. Auto? That'd be why. Manual is much more interesting, and I maintain it's a great chassis.
  24. What a bunch of 'tards.
  25. I've seen that one But no. No extra power, not yet. I don't need it at all, the car is plenty fast enough.
