    wider rear tyres

Everyone (myself included) assumed that Lewis preferred his cars with a bit of oversteer, given that was how his championship winning MP4-23 was setup that way, along with watching his driving. It was only a few years later in an off-the-cuff moment in a random interview where he said he actually preferred a smidge of understeer instead, it was just that McLaren wouldn't set the car up like that for him.
  2. George Foreman plastic spatula. The old skinny style ones. They're utterly brilliant for this kind of thing.
  3. As you admit, that was a couple of years ago. Now they would take you to court, and they'd win. The best thing people can do is pay attention when they're parking, and avoid any extra charges at all. No extra charges = no money for the PPCs = they go out of business and sensible parking can start again.
  4. Pass the entire bill to the insurer you were with when you had the accident. Simple as that. It's not a fine, it's an invoice.

It's 2% in the other direction, which will actually decrease your arch gap too despite the smaller profile (wider tyre, you see).

    Oops!!

    Dead of night, dark clothes.
  7. A heavier gearknob is one of the few places on the car where I'd actively seek to add weight.
  8. Or their website. Clark are very quick at getting things sorted.
  9. Nope. Bovril on toast put manly hairs on your chest!

Possibly. You're on just over 2% difference which *could* affect it, although I suspect it'll very much be fine with zero issues. 295/30 might actually be a better option, or even 305/30, which is the same as a Gallardo or GT3 if you want to know just how silly that is in terms of needing grip My more immediate concern from a driving dynamics POV would be that you'll be introducing understeer to the car. Not an issue in itself it you prefer that (and contrary to popular belief, there's nothing wrong with preferring understeer: If it's good enough for Lewis...!), just something to be aware of. You could get round that and have a more neutral car by adding some toe out at the front, but each to their own.
  11. Nah, they'll all be the same give or take, any O2 spacer will be be fine for your needs
  12. Clark Motorsport. Great service, great price, just great
  13. No, but then I didn't cast a vote for Glasgow East or Cardiff North either.
  14. Oh god, those two gimps who won need shooting! I liked blondey girly the best
  15. Without checking, I believe it was David Campbell-something. I shall now Google to see how close (or far away!) I am. Campbell-Bannerman, close! Ex-UKIP, ironically, now Tory.

  17. I agree, I would just check on the actual terms of the warranty to be sure. I know that the Porsche one voids the entire warranty if ANY part of the car isn't OEM, wasn't sure if the BMW one was that restrictive or now is all. Tbh if the air filter is just a filter change then I'd be tempted to do that anyway, it's not exactly a difficult job to undo four clips and replace it by the side of the road if anything happens
  18. But you already have that, so nothing at all will change in that regard. I'm not sure why we keep going round in circles on that fact.
  19. Which is how the EU works too. The majority does what they believe is right for the majority.
  20. Chris, any specs on sizes of the D2 seats? Specifically the internals, wanting to see if a certain someone would fit inside.
