    I once attached a fire extinguisher to the door bins in my first MR2 by screwing straight through them and into a crappy off cut of 4x2 I had floating around Classy finish, it was not.

    You don't need to match sub to speaker in terms of brand. Really you need to go to Halfrauds and have a play with their speakers on display, work out what sounds best to your ear, then come away and order from the interweb.

    MR2 mk3 turbo conversion (not mine, a mate's car). US supplier forgot to ship a connecting pipe for the IC. Halfway through conversion. Car had to be back on the road that day. Took WD40 can, cut it in half, used one piece as the connecting pipe for a temp fix. Car stayed like that for 40k miles and two years until it was written off on the M25

    I'd use carb cleaner for the lot. Works a treat but won't damage anything if you get a bit over zealous with the spray.
