  1. I once attached a fire extinguisher to the door bins in my first MR2 by screwing straight through them and into a crappy off cut of 4x2 I had floating around Classy finish, it was not.
  2. And of course we've now stuffed the sale for the poor guy!
  3. 'Tards. That is all.
  4. Not until I finish DS and DS 2 So 2019 then?
  5. You don't need to match sub to speaker in terms of brand. Really you need to go to Halfrauds and have a play with their speakers on display, work out what sounds best to your ear, then come away and order from the interweb.
  6. Exactly what I've got. I'm now thinking that they ARE the tickets, since they have the barcode already on them.
  7. Yeah, thought pink would be your colour. ;)
  8. I totally want to buy you a Nismo hat now.
  9. Even the sodding emails from Japfest tell you that the tickets will be sent out! Honestly, what a shower of brown stuff.
  10. MR2 mk3 turbo conversion (not mine, a mate's car). US supplier forgot to ship a connecting pipe for the IC. Halfway through conversion. Car had to be back on the road that day. Took WD40 can, cut it in half, used one piece as the connecting pipe for a temp fix. Car stayed like that for 40k miles and two years until it was written off on the M25
  11. I'd use carb cleaner for the lot. Works a treat but won't damage anything if you get a bit over zealous with the spray.
  12. RX8 yes, and a stripped one is great fun on track. However at that price point you're almost certainly going to be buying one that needs a rebuild, plus you'll want the Sohn adaptor to feed the engine with separate 2 stroke, plus the Corvette ignition coils etc just to get it to a reliable state. I personally wouldn't buy one that cheap for track use if you're not going to spend money upgrading it to keep it for a while. Clio? Okay so FWD, but different and can take the wheels & tools.
  13. *tumbleweed* Actually since you've got them both off, what's the weight difference between the two with tyres on? I know the Nismos are quite light and the stock wheels quite heavy, so I wonder if you're no worse off actually running the bigger wheels anyway.
  14. If it was me, and it was when I owned mine, I'd change the master cylinder at the same time. No more effort, and since the real ballache is the bleeding of the system afterwards it makes sense to do both as you really don't want to come back and have to do that again...
  15. Sorry, they said no Tight fisted old f*ckers.
  16. My mummy and daddy insured my first car for me, I've no idea how much it was
  17. Agreed, I'd rather the screen was up higher too. Maybe put the vents between screen and HVAC controls?
  18. I'm not convinced routing the air vents that low down is a good idea. Do they have enough tilt to aim at your hands and face from that angle?
  19. And that, ladies and gents, is why the manual is the best option bar none.
