  1. Cheers Stan - and given we might have another excuse to come your way soon Thats sorted then - will try to find it in the garage! .......................... ................................... ....................................... some where!! No news yet still on defcon1!
  2. I am sure they will have the scissor jack with the 370 - surely they are not that obsessed with weight saving? I have an old one you can have Colin but it would mean a trip up or I can post if you like
  3. Had something similar in the RX8 Colin - I did buy the optional spare tyre though - wish I had kept the pump it was one of the teeniest and powerful I had ever seen - just have aftermarket ones in the fleet - they are great but best to double check with a digital gauge to be spot on especially with performance tyres - you want them right dont you (Oh the 300C has inbuilt tyre pressure guages - posh doncha know! ) So when are we going to see more action shots of the beast btw?
  4. - as far as retrimming dashboards go - pop over to the Interior section of the forum all that you need is detailed there Dont expect it to be easy to do - Jap tolerences are super fine and hence you cant use thick materials on the dash but if you do - a lot of the plastic will need to be trimmed back. Keep us posted as to your prefered options
  5. Think people like that need to have their heads kicked in ! (he he he - no really - have their license taken away from them) but they are both wrong - the guy who would'nt let them in is also at fault selfish git!
  6. Think the bottom line is walk into a shop and try them all out, see which one fits for you. Lets get one thing clear - Apple Microsoft , Samsung, Nokia, Google, Blackberry etc etc they are all massive corporations with just 1 thing on their agenda - to make money. While doing this they idealy love to have your personal info and shopping preferences this helps them to build a picture of you and target sales crap or sell it on and make more money from you! All the comments about one phone or manufacturer are subjective to each users experience with 1 specific handset. I loved Motorolas before they shipped their manufacturing out to china and quality went p*** poor, they broke easily so tried Samsung. Samsung have good technology well made units but p*** poor software - I mean its like trying to figure out Reverse Polish Arithmatic in Korean!! Had the Samsung Omnia i900 when it came out - it piddles on the Iphone in so many ways and I ahem modified mine easily but when I got the wonderphone it was like driving a crappy Micra and suddenly I have the keys to a GTR!! Yes the wonderphone is over marketed, priced and hyped but the build and interface is just superb. The tech is'nt as good as the Omnia in some ways i.e the camera is bobins by comparision and everything is locked down but again it can be cracked and you have all the freebees for it. It will always be about the overall cost against functionality. Good luck with your search - remember they are all the same and the money is made on the payment plan more than the handset. If its just money get a pay as you go generic brand handset from Asda for £20 and use their plan for peanuts
  7. 350z-UK.com has an iPhone shortcut especially for us gobpage hotmail etc are all available on the wonderphone I admit it's a slipperly little rascal but has remained unscathed so far and never frozen yet? Battery life on the 3gs is much improved and as someone who didn't like touch screen myself the iPhone interface will blew you away and it's p*** easy to use as a typical bloke I have yet to read the instruction manual
  8. Unbiased but I have the 16GB Wonderphone 3gs - left Orange after 10 years (useless muppets these days!!) Love it to bits-yes tied into a 2 year contract but I am not fussed about always getting the latest thing - and when 4G comes along the first series of phones will have problems like the first Iphone so by the time my current contract finishes I should have the revised best set ready for 4G Like all wonderphone bores we find ourselves having to surgically remove them at the end of the day!
  9. Looks ok but still prefer it in white although maybe softtop just pips it at the post? Looks like Nissan dont want to spend any money this year on any of their cars - just going for quick cheap tweaks to justify stuff! At least they still have the 1/2 colour shade out on the bumpers again - some things dont change!
  10. LS57 *** in my works visitors car park - GM coupe - sniff sniff reminds me of Lucy's
  11. Congrats folks savour the haggis and cool off the hangover
  12. You could try tuffanega ( with grit) that might so it but it will stink your house out!
  13. Contact Adhesive? tricky - you can get Contact Adhesive remover from places like B&Q - but its a problem as the material underneath is plastic so will probably melt it anyway! I would'nt bother removing it I would get some very thin material and glue it on the top - probably a lot less trouble - you use spray on adhesive for that one?
  14. Very nice mate - I particularly like the 205 picture that shows movement with the lifted wheel
  15. That was care of your local useless stealership was'nt it!
  16. Very nice pics there Mr Dawg - I thought it was somewhere hot Miami like too ! Gotta love that polution!! Well framed shots - I like the spikey plant adds a bit of interest! (stew you can probably do a Bulb - manual mode shot - then keep it open for 30 seconds although I dont know that specific camera?)
  17. Think a lot of people on the forum would be happy to hire you for tidying up work !
  18. Yeah, well I'm back to earth with a bump now. It did allow me to buy a blimmin' brand new Zed though, So it's not all bad! You've managed to make me feel sea-sick a second time looking at those pics mate Fab pictures. At least you can say you have done that - not many have and the way the government is going there will be loads more so maybe you can get back into that game (there are other firms I am sure?) Stew thats one cool picture Did they base this film on your exploits! Blimey I have worked in some control rooms in my time but this has the be the tidiest ever!!! ?
  19. Every time we drive up to Edinburgh and go near Peebles Village Lucy reminds me of the above fact!!
  20. Convertible is slightly heavier than coupe but stronger and stiffer shell. The extra does make marginally slower but i found it quieter and more refined than the coupe with the roof up. Good solid cars just get one with a service history and consider imports also
  21. Bad luck Andy - my MR2 roadster used to collect screws all the time and of course they were always near the edge and would not be repairable - that was £90 a pop for Toyos' at the time!!! Then the penny dropped and it turned out to be the works carpark, which had been a yard/warehouse previously and they never properly tidied it up!
  22. to the forum MPG is how you drive but I would say 18 - 32mpg
  23. tut tut Mart - shame on you - Lovin the Civic and leaving the Zed to rust! Where's the wrap anyway? thought you were getting it wrapped in tin foil or something??
