  1. Husky maybe you have been reincarnated and before you were a dog you were a bullock !
  2. Oi ya cheeky dawg! Only in Germany do they think up these hairbrain schemes - neighbour must have thought his ship had come in though!
  3. Real life always funnier than fiction!! It does'nt get better than this does it! This is his wife !
  4. Congratulations Chris What a nice surprise good luck to you both
  5. No one can be certain of a perfect paint match unless they have been in the job for years and do it properly - ie paint let dry then check against the car in different lights? A good mixer will be worth their weight in gold. But lets be honest its got to be better than the standard Nissan paint match! Seriously take some pcitures of it - it will probably be enough to blend in but if your bumper has pits and scratches all over might be worth a full bumper respray. I know how p***d off you must be - been there too - but at least its an easy fix
  6. So when can I get a copy to run on my Iphone then!
  7. Your right - this is an intro thread after all I mean only the forum pervs are allowed to extend the replies to intro pages with chat ups and I think Amy has received her chat up quota in the intro now!
  8. Ok before I answer your Zed question! 1960 356 1970 Bug 2000 T4 Pictures please a 356 ?? A genuine one -wow was my all time fave car for years still is!! 1970 Bug - very nice - Pictures please (got a 1971 1300 myself - resting before a restore (20 years so far!!) 2000 T4 - van / camper / surf bus???? (got a 1998 T4 van myself! ) Anyway just got distracted there I am in the same boat as you - I do 700 miles to work every week. Had my ragtop for 2 years. Bought it with 7.5K on the clock and sold it with 53K miles . Towards the end it was the running cost and impending arrival of baby zed (soon) that forced my hand. Love the Zed but with that round the clock mileage every week it was just bleeding my bank account dry. Like you I have ahem other cars at home so cant justify such an expensive white elephant sat there doing nothing. I was lucky to get full book price for it but it still hurts knowing how much I paid for it 2 years ago! If you really love your Zed -just keep it and run it - they will always be a market for them but once the cost of running it outweighs the ownership fun the decision is made I can of course recommend the Chrysler 300C - yes its not to everyones taste - but for the first time in months I actually have money in the bank before payday and its not gone to the Chancellor on tax like the Zed would have!
  9. Hiya Before we begin - I need to understand if you or them are in a hurry to sell - if you are then I cant help you but if you want to get the best value for the records (if in good condition and with a decent sleeve) then read on Have a peep on these: there is a search on this one? http://www.vinylrecords.co.uk/RecordCol ... Guide.html http://www.recordcollector.co.uk/ http://www.recordcollectorsguild.org/ http://www.moremusic.co.uk/links/uk_res.htm Record fayres are plentiful and very popular! Your local music shop (loads specialise and collect Vinyl - are worth a shot but remember they will see £££££'s!) Ok music from 50's , 60's and now 70's is in fashion so if they have the usual suspects - Motown, Elvis, Beatles, Bil Haley and the comets, Northern soul etc - that sort of thing your usually onto a winner! If they are first presses then your deffo onto a winner! Remember Vinyl never went away it just bubbled under the covers until recently when its come back with a vengance - people are getting a bit fed up of MP3 music and CD's they want the proper retro vinyl with decent large artwork on it etc - loads of new bands release on vinyl still today so dont devalue it. Best thing is to do is get organised - write down all the music you have - artist, song name, year , record label and if its 7 or 12" , album ? When you search around the web its easier to search via record labels makes things easier to find. If they have any Northern Soul (or Southern Soul) from the 60's / 70's -let me know I will have it !! Hope this helps
  10. Colin that looks fab you've de- fanged him Not really a wrap fan but that is spot on. That exhaust looks a decent quality unit,as everyone else has said - looking forward to seeing and hearing it in person if you do have a micro meet ensure there are plenty of pics/videos and a nice sound recording please
  11. +1 same here nice car though - get some proper pics up once you have managed to peel yourself from the drviers seat
  12. Husky your on good form tonight
  13. As long as it's not the fiction the Zed one provides anyway Big choppers aside what about Andy's first job (AK350Z) stood on top of those wind turbines off shore ! I got seasick just looking at the pictures ( can't find them though? )
  14. I would get the Navara - do you need a pickup especially? If not get the Pathfinder - which is the same as the Navara but with a roof. Rock solid build, bullet proof engine, goes on forever! I loved my Pathfinder but check the servicing on the Navara - its 18K miles on the Pathfinder but I think its a lot less on the Navara and the backend can swing out easily (no weight on axle when empty obviously!) The L200 looks a bit weedy to me but probably a good vehicle?
  15. Hmm I am sure scroats will be reading this and compiling a shopping list!
  16. Its not just greasing but check if anything looks bent or out of shape - its hard to describe this without pictures but compare 1 side with the other. In my other posts on this subject check the velcro covered strip at the back I found it was slightly out of place and catching the rest of the material and stopping the close process - once slightly moved out of the way it was fine (its on the edge of the window area. You need to fold and unfold it a few times - also leave it open for a while if you can? The motors are not very strong and possibly the cables can stretch over time a little? Hope this helps ?
  17. aye we dont want any old wee Loons now do we!
