  1. That's funny - I used to write ads like that when I worked for a certain council - they had a for sale section on the network , always sold everything I put up but got known for the funny content rather than my job , but what the hell it made people laugh and it broke the ice when they knew who you were in meetings
  2. Nice pictures but look at the paint match on those black 370's with the bumper and bodywork! !
  3. Think Pooky is allowed to start a new thread or we could be in PKAT teritory again here!
  4. Sorry to hear about your friend - think that is more important than a car at this moment in time but really you need to get an auto electrician out or mobile auto locksmith -they will be able to fix it for you quicker and cheaper than Mazda.
  5. +1 - its your postcode mate thats the problem - I have the same issue my postcode is'nt good for Insurance
  6. to the forum ouch not good situation! Why not get insured for a week should cost peanuts then you can use it for a bit at least? Just an idea?
  7. The pump and reservoir are behind the front wheel arch from memory - marzman did a bumper removal guide a while back and you should be able to see it in the pics? Try pulling the pipes off the pee spouts and see if anything comes out that way you know some fluid is getting down the pipes? I think it's the same motor for all of them except a divertor valve - zmanalex would know he has a wiring diagram - if some water dribbles out chances are it's just a temp blockage

    thoughts?

Yes guide is good and you shouldn't have any issues doing your own wheels just take your time and spray on a warm day
  9. Nice one mate glad you got it sorted I know my 300c was a close second btw seriously the 300c is available for wedding hire if anyone is interested
  10. Nice one Keith you've made their day
  11. Do you have access to body jigs and the official dimensions etc ? Otherwise I would avoid - buy it for £2K and break up for spares - you will get more money from parts than the car I think?
  12. surprised the MX5 oc cant help? check all the fuses are ok first before anything else and that the earthing strap is secure onto the body and battery, does'nt matter what kind of battery it is should behave the same way?Have you tried jump starting from another car (using jump leads - incase there is a funny with the current new battery?) I would suggest you get an auto electrician in otherwise
  13. to the forum Karl - plenty about for sale but best buying from someone in the club at least you know its not been thrashed to death!
  14. Thats really pants is'nt it - I mean all they have to do is divert a teeny bit of factory paint for goodness sakes! This will be an accountants decision somewhere - they are probably saving 18pence per car by doing this!
  15. Colin thats impressive! When I had my Xtrail, Nissan released a new blue colour (to appeal to the youff market apparently) but it didnt and they could'nt be ar**ed to produce the touch up so just got my local car parts place to mix me up an aerosol for about £9 - paint match was superb - so worth a try if you get stuck again Colin
  16. This is normal everywhere mate - same in my company - they dont tell you until the day your leaving or in some cases not at all and they ask you why your packing up your desk when they had extended your contract (just too dim to actually tell you!) Happened here last year and we lost a really good guy - dont blame him. If your skills are good in the market place then - dont worry be happy and dont get complacent with the current employer - remember contractors are there for quick hire and short term lease. Unfortunately 1 thing I have learnt (I work in IT too) you are always expendable no matter how good you are - get on the phone to agencies and get your self set up with alternatives just in case and assume they will no renew so you have your back covered - just being realistic - good luck either way
  17. Ok well lets see the pics - you maybe able to get away with recolouring the leather
  18. to the forum - a lot of photographers here always glad to look at new stuff
  19. Great deal if the camera is over £8k! I know mate but its retailing about £1091 but they are for sale elsewhere for £769!! I will wait till its a more reasonable figure then pounce however for hotels this site works out reasonable
  20. Doh! I've yet to try that topcashback.co.uk site mentioned the other week - so, for the camera I want through those traders is full RRP and £400 dearer than anywhere else - but I get 5% cashback!
