  1. No idea sorry... happened o me in 2008. 🤣
  2. Agreed - i had this once when i'd popped a footwell fuse - but given this is intermittent i'd say the fuse is unlikely, and more likely a dodgy earth on that circuit, which could be a bit of a nightmare to find.
  3. Yep, i need one one of these in my life.
  4. Jeez, under £60k? Im having one of those if it looks as good in the flesh as it does in the pics!
  5. Excellent. These are definitely on my list to get... I'll have a google, but do you know how they've returned? I'd read a while ago that they were making a commercial version of it which wasn't bound by the same manufacturer aggregate emissions rules.... or have they reworked the engine? EDIT - answered my own question - it's being billed as a 'light commercial vehicle'. Not sure what that means in real terms.
  6. You should be filming this and putting it on a Youtube channel. Check out B is for Build - you could do videos in their format - i.e. a few mins of commentary describing what you're going to do each day, and then just filmed from a static camera position on time lapse. Would make compelling viewing.
  7. I need to buy stock rims again, plus remove the lowering springs and weld back on the original back boxes... Will cost me £1k - £1.5k to return to stock, but i should recoup all that and more by selling the mods.
  8. Yep, keeping the plate too. Might stick it on my Range Rover, or save it for whatever thirsty beast comes next.
  9. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/393334681564?hash=item5b9492efdc:g:I8EAAOSw39dgpWUp
  10. Car looked great - i was in my Mustang near Tesco roundabout.
  11. Well... this is provisionally sold. Evans Halshaw have offered me £36k cash, but i need to return it to stock (which is a real ball ache as ive sold my wheels, plus its lowered etc), but that should mean i should recoup another £1.5k on top when i sell my aftermarket parts. Not a bad result!
  12. Cheers bud, sorry it's in the title - i'll add it to the main body too. £36,500 incl the private plate.
  13. For sale is my 2018 Ford Mustang Fastback 5.0 GT Auto. £36,500. I've owned this since new and have covered 17,450 miles. It's had 3x services on schedule with Ford (last serviced in March-21, a couple of hundred miles ago). Amazingly, road tax is only £155...! It has the Sync 3 Ford head unit with Shaker Pro premium audio system, sat nav, rear-view camera, and the 6-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. The Sync 3 is the best infotainment system, available in the 2017 onwards Mustangs. The car has the following modifications: Private plate 0008 MPG - included with the car at full sales price, or can be removed for a £350 discount. Original plate is DV18 AXF. SVE R350 19" Alloy Wheels with Michelin MPS4s fronts and MPSS rear tyres (MPS4s not available in the size required). They're 10" wide fronts, 11" rears. Blue wheel nuts Lowered on Eibach springs Exhaust - muffler delete - for an extremely loud and burbling exhaust note - it sounds how it should have done out of the factory. Not for the feint hearted! Carbon rear lip spoiler Gloss black wrapped roof (professionally fitted) Red tint wrapped tail lights (UK lights are clear/white - this can be easily removed if desired) Louvred panels on the rear quarter windows (can be easily removed) MMD V-Series side scoops Front wing mock vented panels Front splitter by Maxton Design Carbon fibre interior coin tray Black 5.0 side badges Retro rear Mustang badge Black front pony badge Folding front number plate bracket - the plate folds under the front bumper! Stunning looks and sounds - it gets positive attention everywhere I go. Genuinely, people take pictures and videos whenever I take it out! Bad bits: The aftermarket rear badge isn't great quality and the plastic chrome finish is tarnished. I have the stock rear badge still which can be refitted easily. There are some stone chips on the leading edges of the side scoops - but these are very minor. I have a touch up pen for this colour which i will include. I have the stock springs, and the stock mufflers which I will include if desired so that they can be refitted. First to see will buy - a stunning example, even if i do say so myself! There is outstanding finance on the car - i'm due to make my final payment on July 1st so if this sells before then, the buyer will need to pay a balance to Ford, and the remaining balance to me, via bank transfer. I will require cleared funds in full before you drive the car away. No test pilots please - if you intend to test drive the car please bring proof of insurance. Otherwise, i'll be happy to take you for a spin. Car located in ST8 - about 15mins from junction 17 of the M6.
  14. I read the ad about 3 times before i saw the price too. Great add Stu... makes me want one.
  15. One last thing... searching for the word 'paddle' on my computer has just returned the following, which may or may not be of any use. In a notepad file titled 'My wires for M47.txt' 1. White 2. Blue 3. Dark Green 4. --- definitely blank --- 5. 6. 7. Grey @@@ Shift Down 8. Brown @@@ shift down Maybe (shouldnt be) 9. Yellow 10Dark Green I have no idea if this is accurate... this might have been preliminary research that turned out to be wrong, i dont know. So use with caution!! I also made the below wiring diagram at the time:
  16. I've just had a look through some old PM's on this forum as people message me about this every so often. The last person that messaged me, i gave them this link and also the following tidbit It was the M47 connector that i tapped into for the gearbox wiring - if you can find the details of that in the manual, you need to then work out which wires you need from it. I think they were the Up, Down, MT/SW, and Ground wires it needed.
  17. Here you go. The 'AT' section of the 350z service manual should have the info you need. in 2008 I made my own paddle shifters completely from scratch and reverse engineered the wiring diagrams in this document (plus many, many hours of research online). I don't think i did a tutorial at the time but there may be some useful nuggets in some of my old threads... i'll see if i can find anything. At.pdf
  18. Well... i've gone and bought what is now my 3rd RRS. I've had two of the original shape previously, but this is my first 'new' shape version. Its lovely to look at and is really well specced, and the interior is the nicest i've ever had on a car, even if it is 7 years old. 82k on the clock, but previous owner was a millionaire (so i assume that translates to well maintained), and it's just had a £1k service yesterday before i collected it. It's got 7 seats (very swish, electrically operated in the boot) and 21" rims with 4 new tyres (landsail ). Also as a full digital instrument cluster which i've wanted for years. Got it for a bargain £24.5k from a pretty exclusive dealer, when in reality this should be closer to £28k based on the spec/mileage. And the dealer i got it from had a 458 and a Roller for sale that i could see... plus a few other fancy things i'd seen online but not in the flesh.
  19. Yep, button on the right is fog lights. Fob slot on the left is likely immobiliser.
  20. I've got loads of pics and vids of the drifting...here's a few of the pics. I'm surprised it was 2010 though... i could have sworn this was in '08 but i was wrong. I was still in my poverty spec JDM at this point. I remember posting the below pic of the girls on my car on facebook and the only comment i got was someone suggesting i disinfect the car ASAP.
  21. Went for a blast today and stopped off to take some pics
  22. Propane is odourless so need a better description than that. If you've been on a track day, it'll be something burning so... tyres, brakes, clutch, or any of your fluids (oil/coolant/clutch etc). I'd go with tyres i think.
