  1. Well thats it for another year... looks like i won ... we all agreed it was a tenner each to the winner, right?
  2. Looks to be in line with the circles on the back of the pad, so im going for a manufacturing fault with the pads... or the pads were damaged during fitting.
  3. I understand all of that but is there no way of the rejected post being made available to the person so that they can just correct it rather than having to rewrite it? +1... while i've not had anything of mine rejected before, i know that sometimes i'll spend ages writing out a for sale thread - and to lose it must be very frustrating.
  4. Just a quick GoPro video... although not of the zeds Can watch in 720p but i think you need to choose that as an option.
  5. My plans for an early night failed... I've got to be up in 2.5hrs

  9. Congrats Jim... i never met you but would have liked to. Wish you all the best with your move... please put up lots of pics of Canada I can completely understand how you're feeling today too... we just got some news today that we've been waiting/wishing to receive every day for 2.5 years (9 years wait total!). My Fiance has today been granted British Citezenship!! It's cost us literally thousands of pounds to get to this point, but she's now sorted!! She has a ceremony on Monday where she meets the local mayor too The upshot of all this is that we can now FINALLY go on holiday abroad together. This is what we've been waiting 9 years for... So we had that moment of jumping round the house today too
  10. Looking good Bounty! I spent 4 hours washing mine last Monday, with the intention of not driving it all week. Pressure wash off all big dirt Wash with megs shampoo and microfibre sponge Dry 1 coat of Dodo Juice Purple Hays Wheels cleaned using Dodo Juice Mellow Yellow Wheels waxed with turtle wax wheel wax 8am Tuesday morning - 10 pikey builders turn up with jack hammers and 2 tonnes of sand to rip up and replace my next door neighbour's drive. F*ck So i ended up driving it to work all week, and even had to take it out on a business trip, so i've ended up doing 300 miles in it, which id normally do in a month. So i gave it another clean tonight... just a quick rinse really but it was nice and easy... and a top layer of speed wax. The car's now fully loaded and set for my 4am departure... tyre pressure's checked, wheel nuts torqued ready for the track. ***Reminder*** anyone with track time - fill in your indemnity forms now to save you doing it in the morning. Bring your paper part of your driving license, and bring some tape to stick the track session decals in your window. I nipped out to take a few pics when i was done, but it was already dark so they look naff...
  11. I was going to use it on the outside... i stuck it to my rear quarter panel and it was nice and firm... went in the house to get my car keys... came back and it had fallen off and was on my driveway...!! So... i wont be using it on the exterior

  16. Hi all, My mate at work is 28, but only passed his driving test 11 months ago. He's got a 1.6 litre 2005 Fiesta, and for his first year of insurance he paid £5000!! He had a bump last summer, so has no no-claims, and the cheapest insurance price we can find for him to renew is £2500 for this year. His job description is 'Account Manager', and he does approx 20k miles a year (12k business use). We've tried all the comparison sites, and we've set his voluntary excess to the maximum. Can anyone recommend any other tips on how to get his premium down?? Or any other insurers that specialise in new drivers? His renewal is due on the 13th May so we need to be quick!! Cheers.
  17. +1 Square rear plate looks more aggressive... plus it's a more authentic JDM car
  18. Yup, me too. Just get a set bought man...!
  19. I always wanted a 350z from when they first came out when i was 17/18... i always used to buy them in the Need For Speed Underground games, Gran Turismo etc, then i got on when i was 23.
  20. I had a quick play tonight... camera mounted on the passenger window with a suction cup. Was quite late and going dark though so forgive the lighting. Im very happy with the wide angle view... able to see out both the driver and passenger window in one shot I will rotate it a couple of degrees to the right though next time so i get a more even view. The only down side is the passenger A-pillar is right where you want to be looking at the horizon. Maybe i'll try it out on the boot window tomorrow.
