  8. have you got a cat5 cable? plug it into the back of the router and see if you can get on the hub via cable.... What make of laptop?
  9. if the pc is on a wired connection then that could be it, if its on the wireless its most likley the laptop... but reset on the hub is on the right hand side, 2nd from bottom I think!
  10. I have that on mine occasionally! Try right click the network icon (2 little tellys next to each other) in the system tray ( group of pretty pics at the bottom right of the screen) . click "diagnose and repair" and then renew the IP address... Might not work but worth a go!

  12. Have you got pre haltech numbers Andlid? Any idea on what they did for the tune, what areas they concentrated on? If you do get 330bhp you will have one of the highest HP non race 350Z's around (worldwide....)

  15. Seriously! When I read the procedure it just says "The engine check light should flash" Didnt say anything about flashing the code(s) to you. Thats cool, but at the same time ive just wasted my money! Just to clarify, you prob havnt wasted money!! There is a way of getting the light to start flashing, it will flash a number of times and you have to count them, the number of flashes will then equate to the code that can be found on here. One thing is that its hard to read and also hard to get rid of!! Code reader will do the job far quicker and much more efficiantly!!
  16. +1 with husky! If your having a little "aggressive" drive and you have it turned on then you know about it! I have found it helps your driving as you dont want it to kick in so if you can drive agressivly without it coming on then your driving better and within the limits of the car.. Looking back on it it has saved me a few times... Its hard to judge on the others having accidents as you dont know the conditions etc etc and there are variables.. ie distance from the kerb when it hit it, what was on the road to make it slip? There is no TC that will help you if you hit some spilt oil / diesel on the road... Drove round the circuits at the millbrook proving ground and it only came on when it was really needed... ie when I got out of line!
  17. No, this was the first time it's been on a rolling road. As I said, the figures themselves are fairly meaningless to me (290 on a 276 car to start with looks a little optimistic), but it's the difference driving it that matters - and it is a LOT better. I don't subscribe to the "I've got to have 300 bhp" line - it's how the car responds that matters more. Chris'I, which thread should I post the graphs in? Yeh I know what your saying, I have had the same experience with the direction I have gone with the responce and feel of the car. Butt Dyno is a good thing esp when not talking massive gains (as opposed to FI) Its just the confusing thing about mapping and tuning you go along with your plen and zorst and run 300+ and the other cars that have run 300+ at RS are running more mods! Tunning a Zed and getting real true info = PITFA !! Glad your enjoying the benifits

  20. Jealous or what!!!!!! I think the one place to ask the question is on my350z. Gaz and Kev from Envy (The joys of being a trader that deals with the real deal!) took a short trip over recently but not sure how much they got out and about, I think it was a flying visit! But if you look on my350z there are quite a few US army guys that are stationed over there that post and may be able to point you in the right direction, Also the like of Bulletproof post up on there and they are japanese based. Also try Patric at RHDJapan as he may be able to assist. Hes a helpful guy. Good luck and looking forward to seeing what little bits of lovey rare JDM bits you manage to find! Mark
  21. Even though Gary is a great guy... The tea and bacon sarnies you get at envy if your there for a short while are worth the trip. And you get to check out lots of lovely Zed things whilst your helping / waiting!
  22. Midrange torque, slight change of engine note. Worthwhile IMO esp if your looking at tuning... Yes it does come with instructions and pictures...
  23. Envy do have stock of them and for a short journey up the M23 and you can have it fitted for free!
