Speak to Envy, they charge about £130 I think and fitting is very very easy!
-
I thought we had had a discussion Andy !!
-
Lol at Shart!!! Am so glad that word has finally made it into others vocab!
-
Nice one ho.... must say, am slightly jealous! Guess the person who dreamed just woke up to an amazing Zorst!
-
Just recently I witnessed several cows on the bonnet of a car bonnet parked outside Sainsburys at Epsom. Sorry, read that post with a typeo, made me chuckle!! Now hoof marks would be a worry... I cant remember mark, have you got off street parking? but not under cover? I did see some pretty cool pull over shell covers...
-
Lol! You should have asked him Ho what type of GTR IT WAS!
-
You may need the side badge doing in bronze in that pic.. its taking your eye away from the lovely door handles and wheels.... I like! Headlights may be an issue to chop me thinks..
-
Nope not standard, but as you say look like water / wind deflectors, but that would suggest giving lift as is is deflecting air that could be entering the rear space where the zorst is.. If its got an aftermarket zorst with twin cans there will be a big space for the air to collect under the bumper.. This may stop that... The stock / nismo zorst adds to aerodynamics!

your giving me a headache trying to decide if red or blue is my fave Zed colour.... Nice cleaning work and great location. Colours in the posts really work, may make for a nice chopped pic in b+w with just the red and blue showing?
-
Nice one mate, did you manage to salvage many of the old parts? Whats next?

1) Yes some work may need to be done to inner arches esp if you slam it. 2) Yep 20's can be fitted and fill the arch well but you will get some rubbin issues 3) +22 on a 10.5 fills the arch. I think Andy is running 40mm of spacers and that fills the arches. Unfortunalty not good enough to do the maths to work that one out!! 4) Genuine (viewtopic.php?f=32&t=25863) I have seen some replicas and they are shocking on the fit. lots of work to get them right. The owner of these did get rid of some to Andy Kudos and they were spot on and easy to fit... If you want any info, speak to Andy as he has the kit and has been through the pains of getting this kit to fit just right!
-
Seen these in the flesh and they look a great fit and look very nice, think they are the same as the ones on the Envy 350z (and IIRC muddys car) As the others have said, need a boot lid / bonnet to pull off the look. Guessing if you out them on it will force your arm to get it all done!
-
+1. But you may have to look at camber adjuster and arch rolling if you decide to lower on springs or coils...

No mate, you wouldnt have to do anything to the washers, the passanger side one is just a reserve that keeps the drivers topped up. All you need to do is remove and cap / block the pipe. You will have more than enough fluid in the remaining one (Dont think any of the import owners put it down as a problem running out of fluid quicker!! You wouldnt have to modify anthing to get a different filter on.. Lots of filters come with different fitting options. My pop charger is now held on via a silicone tube and 2 clips. The only thing you need is slot for the maf sensor that the long tube will have on it.. The venturi effect makes a difference on both short and long CAI's.. I have seen the effects on the dyno both on the results and the info off the readout in my car... I havnt taken it on the track though so I cant give any info on that.. Perhaps someone that has used it extensivly for track work can comment! After all you want to jam as much cold air as possible into the longer tube and keep it flowing, the velocity stack will help that... Esp if your gonna be running it on track and it will be getting hot... As you know, heat rises so the filter will be in the best place furthest from this... problem is though that the cai tube is in the warmest!! You may find some gains are to be had by heatwrapping the CAI tube esp if your talking serious temps.. also if your thinking of getting manifolds then heat wrap those too to decrease heat rising to the tube... If you want to go all out for real cold air in the tube, have a look at some of the cryogenic systems!! Lots of lovely cold dense air in those ones

Nice fiesta mate seen it at a couple of shows and looks great in the flesh. Guess it dosnt matter which sites you go to, there will always be someone that wont like what you have done, you just cant please everyone all of the time!! Good luck with the Zed and hope you get all sorted. Looks like you may be giving Muddy some healthy competition!!

Hmmm.... slight bit of confusion here chris... Suppose thats down to information being held on a number of forums, but there was no intention of missing the meeting point that was suggested... As we all know convoys arnt the easiest to arrange but we all know where we are going to.. I know I was confused as I set up 3 meeting points and posted them on here and there and there suddenly happened to be another one.. The other meet points were posted and numbers were available! Think one person forgot about the meet point and has apologised to you... And your response to them seemed that all was ok, but your response here seems like there is still an issue... Seen as Rob has posted up that he is talking to Rich, do I take it that this wont be happening now? Great news for those that attend the shows hey!! We are both predominatly 350z clubs (as there arnt many of the other nissan sports cars out there yet) and not just "car" clubs... The fact that in person at the shows there is always talk that it would be good to have more impact so that both clubs were on the same stand, so we got a better position etc etc. No one that I speak to has an issue about this happening but am guessing that its different when it comes to posting up on the forums! Shall we have a vote on both forums to see if the members from both forums are happy with joint meets? Happy to do that if it will put this matter to rest... With regards to the last meet at snetterton, members of this forum attended on the OC stand as there was no one else from here going.. And there was no issue from anyone attending. As steve stated, he came to castle coomb on the OC stand, others went on the Z-club stand.. there were no issues but it would have been good to have the zeds all together... Modified Live at Oulton Park, the same thing.... It just makes sense that when there are 5 cars from one club in one area and 5 from the other on another stand then it would be better to have one for all... Its a simple fact that numbers are down at the shows to do with the current economic climate so it makes sence to work as one.. If we were talking 40 cars from one and 25 from the other it would be a different matter! I personally would love to hear from other users on this forum about the possibility of joint meets cause it seems at present that the responders on this thread dont represent the community as a whole... I for one have attended meets on from both clubs and on both stands, I dont have an issue... I post on both forums because of the car and to try and give new (and old) owners the benifit of my knowlege and to also find out stuff I dont know and to engage in discussions and banter... And its even better to meet people that are on both forums in person! On the subject of joint meets the hoon and wales are listed on the OC, not removed after all its down to users of both sites to attend if they wish, no mods (inc committee members on the oc) have the right or ability to stop anyone from going.. I think if you look at the posts on the OC, that no mods or committee members have stepped in to harras the OP... If they had then others would have spoken up as they have on this thread.... Just trying to make sure that both sides of the story have been told Jerry posted up about a meet recently, and noone took umbridge.... -
Envy have the Z4 ones in stock... You may want to PM Andy Kudos too...
-
injen, AEM and nismo are all made in the same place... or at least the aem and nismo are as the nismo is just a rebranded AEM.. I would advise sticking a pop charger or apaxi type filter on the end or at least one with a velocity stack as they do work... Proven fact with dyno and temp readings.... Just a thought!
-
Was just thinking that... I still get visions of your car in my rearview mirror when I come off roundabouts.... To the OP, you should get the alignment sorted as you said, they can go out of alignment if hit.... Dont think any of the other tyres would have helped due to damp conditions and if there was anything else on the road, like fuel... but agree, change the bridgestones when you can, other tyres are better!

Whats your MPG? Whats a plenum spacer?

Looking forward to the reports on the discs and suspension mate Look good, but as both above have said... DROP IT!!

Nice one for trying to tie things up Mark so there is a bigger representation of Zeds on a stand like at JTS. And nice one to Rob for having a convo too. I think its plainly obvious that bygones will never be bygones and there will still be barriers in place, shame really as all of us that still own the cars are missing out on all the benefits of working as one big happy family But it seems like shows are one thing we can try and do together to try and make more of an impact -
Fair do's! Will prod him with a stick!

Just to explain, the Oz govt ran a series of adverts and the little finger was their theme! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-p ... 240288.stm
