  1. Yep, had it flashed and a couple of bits added and changed over..
  2. So my little Zed went for a little trip to see Mark, Tony, Sarah and Scott and the crew at Abbey Motorsport so I thought I would do a little write up on my trip for those that haven't been! For a start, what a great bunch of people. Friendly, great banter, helpful and with the patience of a saint to put up with me for fair amount of time asking questions and generally getting under peoples feet The next thing is the premises with all the necessary equipment including most importantly for us Nissan Consult so all types of servicing and routine maintenance can be done on our beloved cars. Comfortable sales office to sit around in with a couple of friendly dogs to pat! Just watch out for beetle and his little problem. Courtesy cars are available too. Beetle is on the right! Workshops are very tidy and the guys there professional, polite and informative. 3 ramps, engine build room and loads of other fabrication tools. The only thing they need to do is move this old banger out of the way to get to one of the ramps.. So, on to the room where Mark the magician plys his trade.. A well laid out dynapack hub dyno room, again clean and tidy and with lots of gadgets and gizmos.. Most importantly the Osiris Uprev machine... Mark at Work Hub Dyno I would highly recommend going to Abbey for any work on the Zed, easy access from the M25, full facilities, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Mark et all, thanks again for all your help and assistance Oh and the drive home?

Think you need to jump on that one quick Ian... you know how dangerous it is posting your ideas!! They become someone elses! Like the other end of that car too...
  5. Lovely boat.. Guess its hard to find them once they go, not may about but presumably easy to hide unless its at the bottom of the briney....

    'WHITELADY'

Word is that the 370z likes mods Quite a few nice new zorsts like the 5zigen... or my new fave Amuse!!
  7. I take it you mean the bit to fit over the pax handle thats in aluminium? If so I am interested! Mark
  8. Well if you time it well you could get over to Mark at Abbey before you go back for a tune or you could get gary at GT Art to fit you a unichip as there should be some dastec / unichip tuners in germany that will be able to help when you have future tuning needs?
  9. Where you getting the car from? There is a few in Germany (I think there is a German 350z owners club!) So they may be able to give you some advice...
  10. Pretty rare item mate! JDM option me thinks
  11. Think you might find its easier just to get your car remapped... Cheaper and less hassle as 1) that ECU may not work on your car and 2) its mapped to a car thats modded, maybe not in the same way to yours! Abbey are doing a remap for under £400 Or buy a piggy back chip like a utec or a unichip... Are you coming back to get it mapped or getting it done in Germany?
  12. Nope vinyl plates are not legal! Just stick it in the grill area, it looks better than stuck on the front edge of the bumper.... As long as the letters are correct size and spaced you can reduce down on the size of the plate...
  13. Think thats what Sarni said!! In answer to your sig question Alex, thats pretty normal MPG around town.. Guess you knew that before you bought a 3.5!! Get it mapped with so you can have urban maps that will give you a bit more economy!
  14. What nuts? My alu ones are at about 90.. Think the spacers are at about 110 to 120.. IIRC but Andy is your man for nuts and spacer!
  15. Yep, got them (or ones like them). The ones I have are very close to the construction of the nismo b-pillar covers... But I have seen some that are a peice of somethign that looks a little like carbon that has a sticky back that look crap... esp when water gets behind them and the glue unsticks!
  16. And your going to put what on when it comes to MOT when you need to swap your decats?!
  17. The nismo comes with slots in the CAI for the MAF sensors to fit in but you will need a star driver with a little whole in the middle. halfords do sell them or they come in the big spanner / ratchet kit... Careful on removal as they are sensitive little souls! Nismo is built with the 350 in mind, and comes as a kit. Pop chargers are only filters and then you buy other z-pipes. Others are made like ARC ($$$$$$ but look amazing) Injen (was one of the best CAI's on the single intake version), Stillen (Comes with filter boxs for increased airflow) AEM (Make or used to make the Nismo) Fujita and weapon R (Good reviews but not many owners use!) Have a look on Envys site, z-store.co.uk most if not all options are listed there
  18. I mentioned on a previous post about fitting the cusco without spacers, there was full clearence across the plenum by about 3mm (due to the cusco being flater than the stock) but after a fair few miles and a removal of the strut to get to the plenum had been rubbing on the strut. Bolts were tight though to required torque... I did hear that the plenums rise as well get sucked down.. but may have miss read something.. Had somethign to do with what the motordynes are made of perhaps?
  19. You have a venturi in yours anyway You may want to look at the Nismo kit for yours... Looks a bit cooler !! Have a search in Abbeys threads as there is info in there from other 313 owners... They can loose hp and torque but they sound good! loose unless you have it tuned;)
  20. Just making sure people saw the point about the plenum raising... Anyonw got any thoughts?
  21. Its a case of making a small cut in the grommet and then putting a longish screwdriver through. Then push through the cable where the driver is... Drilling shouldnt be necessary... Mine is a UK car, but will have a butchers tomorrow at mine and confirm, will take a pic if I can. IIRC it follows the route of part of the loom...
  22. No need to get them made, easily available from a nut and bolt / fixings type shop... the proper ones not B+Q
