    Total noob

5zigen exhaust for sale which will give you a few tunes... Possibly have a k+n typhoon or pop charger up for grabs soon too I can tell you now, it sounded great in the dartford tunnel only changed cause I got something a little different
  2. Yeh you have to block the pipes up mate as the pax is an overflow and fed from the main left hand side reservior. Suprised you didnt notice the liquid under the car!
  3. Unfortunatly its 296 then someone says 300, then someone says 305 and before you know it you get veilside kitted cars with 325 that havnt seen a set of rollers in their lives!
  4. You want a ban? I'll race you through any field, on any beach and through any snow...... for V5s! I'll take the elise (cough) engined Gaylander and you in your Zed! I have always meant to put the Rays on the freelander for a laugh! Hmmm... have Rangies got the same bolt pattern as a freelander....?!?! 4.6hse S/C rollin on volks!
  5. 57+ is 309 bhp (the 313 is 313PS) Dont think '06-'07 is 300bhp either is it?
  6. From the pics you posted in the past yours is a 276bhp model, and perhaps a GT model. It could be that the 300 is PS rather than HP as thats what the japanese work in! Unfortunate that you havnt got a GT300 car or you would have one of the fastest in the UK

    show cage

Unless your doing it blue peter stylee with cardboard tube and wrapped in something vinyl (it has been known!) then you may as well just go for a cusco bolt in.. There not FIA standard but they at least do something!!
  8. Probably.... If your paying!!
  9. Worked just fine mate That was with an SLR on too, but just a 10-20mm lens. Super steadie bit of kit.. Off to read your PM!
  10. Tight as a gnats chuff mate! Bout 5 months old! Only used once to attach my SLR to the harness holes in my seat at silverstone!!
  11. mine was 16mm, but i seem to remember both sizes are on the uk car... Check your tow hook?
  12. Yep they would be but I think the owner is hoping that the guys dosnt have to pay for a new set of nismos....
  13. They do take CC, but I would be suprised there would be a GB though!! There prices are stupidly cheap.. £350 ish at the special price.. But shy boys dont get the sweeties!
  14. I have known a difference with digi cables. The only ones I havnt noticed difference in cost is with the optical digi ones... Dont buy the all in one unit if you can help it.... speakers are often crap... Even as a sonyphile I wouldnt buy. I have another setup in my flat I rent out with a sony 1080 amp, and sony seperate speakers... Same price, much better. The only think that am dosnt have is HDMI. Onki is a top bit of kit and comes at a good price point. Go into Richer sounds or somewhere like sevenoaks. Let them tell you what you need and do a setup list for your budget and then go online and buy the bits cheaper..
  15. I think as the remap on a stock and a modded 350 have both returned better MPG's then its down to the remap rather than the mods. Having sat for 2 days with Abbey seeing exactly what Mark gets up to when hes tuning I can appriciate where the better figuers come from. Just a quick calculation.. 7000 Miles per year (as not many of us put over 10k on!) 22.1 MPG (Average) £1.20 (current Shell / BP 98RON cost) £1727.93 per year in fuel 7000 Miles 28.1 MPG £1.20 Fuel Cost £1358.97 Approx Saving £368.96 per year after Uprev remap... Remap cost inc VAT £396... Additional Power £27.79... Bargain!
  16. On behalf of another 350z owner "These were stolen from outside a bodywork shop in Cannock on sunday as they were drying apparently the poor bloke was distraught when i told him the price to replace them so if anyone is offered these in orange please get in touch! " Not gonna be of use to many people so will probably show up....
  17. Currently running a Linn system with Nucleus speakers.. With a setup the same as you, sky, ps3 etc. The rear speakers are quite far back in the room (its a combined lounge and dining room) but it seems like the rear speakers are right behind your ears. I dont tend to run the rear speakers when watching normal TV (Unless it needs it!) only for BR and PS3 Is £700 to include the speakers / cables etc? How big is the room? Do you want it to be able to drive the speakers in an additional room? I have heard a few of the new yamaha setups and am amazed how good they are with 1 speaker and a sub. but these are roon size dependant as you need to "bounce" sound. As Ekona said AVforums is where I would go for a look around. Whilst your looking, I would also cost up for a good multi remote. I use a phillips pronto, but have heard some good stuff about the new logitech ones...
  18. Lol!!! think he thought he may have got a wheel sale too!!! Shocking display of lack of knowledge!
  19. it means it should make use of all the mods and the mods make their true values and the car should run at its best. but if you total that little lot up and then the retune, its a lot of 8mpg before you make your money back Think the point is that the MPG saving will pay for your remap, not all the mods
  20. Members with stock cars have noted increased MPG from a remap. No changes in driving style, its always , just done another 200 miles including a drive to birmingham with other zed drivers that wasnt exactly "slow"!!! and its at 28.1... Speak to someone like Abbey and they can point you in the right direction as too mods as they have been trying a fair amount of combinations now to see what works best... If you are going down the tuning route then its worth getting a dyno to start to see what your working with and then (from experience!) its worth using the same dyno to see the gains! At least you can see thr % increases! You never know, you may be able to get a deal for a remap now and for any further tuning you may do..
  21. Nice work mate, looks close to mine but mine is a bit more "ghetto" !! Just a point though! for those with k+n typhoons, the scoop is held by a bolt into the toe hook, so to use something like this, you will have to modify the intake scoop by cutting a small section of the bottom part of the hole and then you would need to cut in a couple of slots in the bar close to the threaded bit to hold the scoop bracket... (For those that dont get my explanation and have a typhoon, then I can take some pics!!
