172 Gearbox? Oh and HKS dont make short shifters!! The 3 that I have driven with shortshifters by b+m have been spot on.. Not really brand snobbery is it when you buy something and its dosnt do the work its intended for... you can buy this exact kit not chispeed branded for $15 brand new from the states... Somehow think a 30k car is worth a bit more than a $15 shitter, sorry shifter!!! Shows the markup really dosnt it! Oh and a bit of web research will bring up a few forums where people have had issues.. Guessing on this its the case of the possibility of a £500 repair build or £150 for a Nismo or a B&M in the first place!
-
Yep, I know someone else that had an issue with one of these... Or an unbranded Chinaspeed one.. It made it very easy to go from 5th to reverse!
-
4 pin connector into the rear drivers side cluster, 3 wires go in - chase the reverse wire to the connector, remove and replace the pin into the one that was spare, that should be the fog, if it works swap the bulb to a red LED! at least thats the difference between the UK and US cluster loom... Tend to agree with martinopy, you got a few too many colours going on that your eye is drawn too.. Chrome, green, orange, red, white, black...
-
Yep, tight fit, but I wouldnt paint it... this is just a stopgap. You can buy them painted from the states though!
-
Pics No dips or dents in the rear or midpipe cans. No damage to the tips, internals all intact Exhaust just before removal with kenitix hiflows and 5zigen Y-Pipe. First one of the 4 (Excuse the girlfriend at the end!)
-
Halfords sell the gromets that fit, but if you look in your engine bay you will see 2 black discs above the rad... Pop one out and use that... it fits!
-
Yellow one, looks great I say do it!

How comes? Once they're on can you get them off? It was probably more to do with the lights not being bright enough, the MOT implications and also the the safety and security of other road users and pedestrians.... Oh and if you happen to be in a accident at night and you insurance see that you have this mod you probably wont get paid out.. even if its the others fault! Seen it done and with HID's and you cant see jack @*!#.. Good luck with that! I agree with this. Silly and dangerous in my opinion. It also looks crap but tha's another thing altogether! Yeah I see where you guys are coming from but from the pics you can see that only the edges are smoked, the middle is where most light is emitted right? First pic are painted internally like mine 2nd pic has full smoked lenses which are the dangerous versions.

Just a couple of findings after about 400 miles since having the Uprev remap.. Firstly MPG... Gone from 22.6 to 28.7. Sames drives that include spirited country lanes, start / stop towns and M25 and more flowing M4. Got a few more miles to do this week so will keep this updated if things change.. So looks like the fuel saving will more than cover the cost of tuning very quickly (Think Andymc found the same) AFR As I have a Camp2 installed I can also see in real time what figuers the car is putting out and I have 2 areas called "Learn" and "Correct" Both are to do with the AFR of the car. Before these numbers did move about a bit under load and at idle, going from + to - numbers. Now there is only learn (will check to confirm its learn and not correct!) figuers that fluctute at about +15 at idle, I am guessing that this is down to the car running with fuel going in but not as much air is being sucked in. Once under load they both stay at about 0.00 but with a little flicker at 2750 (I do have a little dip on the dyno at about this rev range). Please correct me if I am wrong but if the ECU isnt learning or correcting given the numbers are at 0.00 then this means that the fule and the air are spot on... Throttle responce Burrrrrrrrrrilliant, far chrisper, far more responsive and again from the camp2 I have finally seen 100% Throttle open! Injector graph on the CAMP2 is also smooth when reviewing a run from dead stop. Unfortunatly I am not that up in tuning and am learning so the other numbers on the camp2 mean very little, but if anyone is interested in numbers that are on the CAMP2 currently ie temps, throttle, airflow etc etc, please let me know and I can find out for you.

Fricken Baller wheels clarkie. Very nice and look like they will last the winter due to construction and no shiney lips!
-
Looks like the Evo-R Type III, but not as nice... http://www.evo-r.net/product/Blitzz/index.htm

I think the OP wins post of the year for that one, still not sure if it was ment or not! Fake (badly fitted ) failside for 20k... Bargain!
-
Where are you based? Sounds about right but differs in different parts of the country. And yes he is almost right... As clarkie says Shine are pretty good... And as Rob says, Nismo ones are spot on Other copies have been known to fit like a dogs dinner and take loads of work to get right.. Thats why he has given you a price but it based on an easy fit!

im not saying you dont love or care for your dogs. just dont chop any more appendages off eh Just on the argument of this and the way its gone, would you prefer selective breeding to produce a dog that has a shorter tail or a tail thats docked at 3 days old in a painless fashion? I have seen badly docked dogs but I have seen lots of dogs that have been docked and they dont seem unhappy or are missing something. Not advocating docking at all, am more for let nature take its course, but it happens and always will cause we all have our own opinions
-
Do it! It will look great! Tried to chop the silver one to orange and its a reet pain in the ar$e to get right and its also hard to remove the 350z from the silver and put it onto the orange!!

Dans is blended on.. Jays could be a 1 peice? Is it not the same as Bundus's ?
-
i thought there were too ings rear bumpers, one was a lip style, and this one which is a whole rear bumper. might be wrong, some one will have the definitive answer Think Ings go a number of rear bumpers, 2 or 3 full bumpers and 1 or 2 add ons, the one piece one like Bundus has wont do that though.. or not easily... dcash has the add on blended in and it looks great, they should have made his like that originally
