PULL at the centre pipe and twist gently when you do it
  4. Yep, got to concur there... There are 2 things you need to look at when judging size.. one is the distance to the wall from the main seat... Men see a far narrower area too than women.. women work in widescreen... (Goes back to cave men times.. Men see in a focused small area from when hunting.. women see in a wider arc from when looking out and protecting) Next thing is hight from the ground, we all see and focus through the bottom 1/2 of your eyes so when you are sitting and relaxed pick a point on the wall level with where your eyes are, roughly the top 1/4 of the telly should sit above that line with the other 3/4 should sit below.. this will stop neck ache and reduce eye strain. Also, its worth sticking some cold cathode tubes behind the screen that come on with the telly (kits are available) this will reduce eye strain as your eyes arnt strictly focused just in one place.. Like this
  5. Not quite.... they did help me to get to the 26x area... Original numbers 2 years ago with a typhoon and spacer was 239hp and 214ft lbs at the wheels...
  6. Sooo what did you think it would do with manifolds? I also think that we cant get much more different to what they have done in america and if we did we would be reinventing the wheel.... As they have had the cars for longer and they have spent a developing countrys GDP on tuning I dont think there is another way... And its also been tried over here... jsut cause the numbers arnt on the forums dont think others havnt done it! Think you may find that the UK arnt that far behind the US in car tuning And remember, their HP is different to our HP... Their calculations give bigger numbers! So what indication have you been given with the revup then? And whos doing it?
  7. And you may have even less left after you have fitted it!! Bump for a tried and tested sensible purchase!
  8. It had a speed limiter problem?!?!?! I didnt notice! !! Good job really! 115 through godstone may have been a bit quick!!
  9. I was thinking of one of these But that one look like a much better option!!
  10. Lol!!! Thats in one side... This is in the other... Cant have sound without lighting!!
  11. i was looking forward to that... its a hollow victory... Looking forward to see what your gonna do next, but throttle in a bottle is cheating!!
  12. Y-pipe back 5zigen exhaust. Ready to go as its off the car... One, if not the best sounding exhaust out there, done about 12 to 15k Cans and Tips in great condition condition, pics to follow. y-pipe may be coming off the car soon too, this will have new flexis put in before being sold (no issues, its just been scraped on a few speedbumps... More bits to follow...
  13. You didnt smack that much out of the arches did you!!! Speak to Mark, I told him where there was one with bits if Lee hasnt got one (but guessing you know that already!! )
  14. Lol!! Hi Jamie! Good to put a face to a forum chat! Stoptechs are on the very long list!!! But after trying them they have moved up fair few places! If I am ever looking for a master arch roller I will be hunting you down mate! Get home OK?
  15. Yep in here viewtopic.php?f=32&t=29041
  16. Buddyclub... His y-pipe will be roughly 2.5 off the cats to 3 out to the mid too... most if not all cats come off at 2.5... Am running a full 3" y back now, just not unsilenced the mid pipe.... yet!
  17. I got a spills one for grabs in the for sale section... Looking for £30
  18. He must have a different y-pipe as its about 2.5 off the cats and goes to 3" on to the zorst! Exhaust is pretty evenly matched from the exhaust manifolds out to the exhaust tips.
  19. 305 is fine by me! Noticed a big difference in throttle responce... hopped it like a learner driver out of your place! And took a 15 mile detour home.. made sure I went on the motorway and a few dual carridgeways to get a good feel. Shame it was a bit damp underfoot. Defo felt things on the butt dyno! noticable difference in torque in 3rd and 4th from 3500, you get a decent kick out of it now!.. Will be doing a few miles on Sunday to the AGM so will give some more feedback then! Also for those thinking about decat... even though tuned with a remap, after the decats were fitted there was a big drop in torque.. esp low down, without a tune decats and other free flow exhaust mods could well loose power, as you can see, tuned, there just fine!
  20. OK so a few graphs from me.... Mine v the benchmark stock 350z! Mine with a little niggle before starting the tuning Mine niggle sorted and then tuned Final CAT's v Decats... Which is where its at now. Mods are, Popcharger, TB spacer, Plenum Spacer, fujitsubo headers, DC Decats, 5zigen y-pipe (for now), Amuse Titanium Exhaust Figs are at hub (270hp 250 torque) so with a rough 12 to 15% Drive train loss... 310bhp
