Yeh this was the last one with decats Just realised its 272 so looking to get 275ish not 280!! Dont think a blowing y-pipe is gonna be loosing me 8hp is any! Since fitting the new y, the AFR has changed slightly so could have caused a small loss! Torque is the main win though with uprev, the bonus is the HP!

If you do the outers black and then keep the centre reflectors chrome they shouldnt look like "black eyes".. Have you thought about carbon wrapping the chrome outer (where the reflector is) and the front gloss black section? It looks very cool!

4th Gear Dyno Pull on mine Power band is between 3 and 5.5k so I tend to drive the car in that rather than taking it too the limit as the power drops off your loosing power. Not sure what the power band is in lower gears but I tend to change at about 6k

I've just realised that that's what I've been doing subconsciously as well Subconsciously my arse!!! If you have a cheeky sideways glance to look to see if they are overtaking you and you have a massive smile on your face when you leave them for dust it is all consciously!!!

Ah such a fave of mine, overtake them and then they chase you thinking they are all over you when they come up behind.. wait for them to try and overtake you and then speed match them for a bit (conditions allowing of course!)... then floor it leaving them looking like idiots in the wrong lane... so you putting US headlights onto a JDM? Am guessing that they havnt got self levelers on the new ones? Are they 08 ones?

You connected the utec up to your PC and run hyperterminal to see what maps are loaded and which one was set for the SC before? Also may be set to different petrol from the states?

278 with a blown y-pipe at the hub so depending on what calculation you use 305 - 325 at the wheel! I do work on Marks 30hp loss from the fly... With the new y think hoping to get over the 280 at the hub...Its a good base!!

Mine is Upreved already but is going back for more work soon... and Decats dont rasp, well good ones dont! Am guessing that you have a y-pipe with the nismo but if not, go with the motordyne y-pipe with swapable cat / decat sections. Saw one today, lovely made bit of kit! If you run uprev with maps then you can go with decats as you can use a map for the mot Speak to Mark about it... Mark

The wires can be in different places different due to the auto adjust balast and other things. I think I still have some pics of mine where the wires were swapped over to fit, but mine were US ones so not sure if they were the same. Connectors are pretty easy to take apart and swap over on the headlight side. you just needs to know what goes where!
