  1. Swap your stubby with someone that owns a CR-V for free. Used pop chargers come up all the time so you could save a few £ there (I may have one up for sale very soon.) Put the savings / remaining cash into a decent exhaust
  2. Perhaps, but considering Jay had the rims "dulled" it would be pretty had to match up I would have thought...
  3. Not sure how he had that mangled GT-S repaired... In a car ad "BAD POINTS" FTMFL.....
  4. I wont be much help as offsets are like swahili to me... I just bought ones that fitted! Am sure someone will help!
  5. No dude they came with.. and I'm not 100% on what your going on about? but advice on what to look for or if I need to fix would be much appreciated Zeds have got stagged fit wheels so the front is narrower than the back. On a standard setup there is 1/2 an inch difference in width front to back, or if you go aftermarket you can run about an inch difference. On the odd occasion a non staggered fit can throw the traction out. You can normally tell by the tyre sizes, if there the same all round then you havnt got a staggered setup If your gonna keep them, you need to work out the spacing to fill the arches and draw the wheel closer to the body of the car. Lowering on springs or coilovers will help to make them look a tad bigger.
  6. Have you shown your arse yet Ross? I havnt had an update!
  7. Did you put the rims on the car? Dont look staggered and look the wrong offset...
  8. jeeze how? Even if he looked as though he could drive on that video be prob found out that you cant do it all the time... One reason why its best to drift on the track rather on places that have kerbs, walls and other road users that dont know the rules of the track! Funny enough Matty said it would last long when the guy drove away...
  9. +1 There is a line that should be drawn with this. I dont think its bad or wrong for this type of thing to be done on the public road, but obviously there is a TIME AND A PLACE. For those of you that think this is wreckless driving - no its not, its just drifting. He has drifted pretty well in the video IMHO and is obviously in control of the car. Head over to driftworks if you want to meet some street drifters... they get up to this sort of thing every day. I've been to a few legit drift meets and everyone was talking about what they did on the streets in the week etc... they're different kind of people to on here. ...and can any one of you on here tell me that you've never exceeded the speed limit on any road? That is probably more dangerous than this That said, he can see other traffic, so he should have stopped. Lastly, i would never dream of doing this in my zed, and i've never done it in my drift car or my current shitbox. I stick to closed car parks at night. For people saying its wreckless and dangerous Cheers, un-biased, un-involved and educated. Looks like you got caught up in the spam cloud!! Why post once and have your say when you can post 300 times! Neo Ninja, there is no implying that the car was written off, it WAS written off! The guy obviously ran out of talent!
  10. car is gone? To the big breakers yard in the sky...
  11. Bumper is no problem... (If your is cracked and you need a new one I have a blade one off my car you can buy!) Its the aluminium rear 1/4 thats gonna be a pain. hope they dont need to replace it... Welding job.. Guessing its repairable though!
  12. Mattlers old car... could drive it no where near as good as matty could.. Anyway as you can guess its no longer on the road....
  13. sorry Mark, although it is know to be a problem with the K2, It still not acceptable. The owner should of been informed that this had been done. Afterall he originally ordered a Milltek only for it not complete. Point taken
  14. Yeh Colin, you found your rear 350z storage bin yet in the new car
  15. At a guess the zip ties have been used on the mounts to try and even out the K2's lopsidedness Something bulletmagnet listed as a way of sorting the issue? Nissan have seen this and fitted new mounts? Looks like envy havnt just "Once you take that car away they lose interest very fast!" from Gaz's reply and have tried to help and spent money on diagnosis when the 02 spacers should have been used to rectify the issue...
  16. Black wheels look great, but after seeing the LMGT4's on a 370 i would be Powdercoating those getting some spacers and chucking them on... As dan says, set of lowering springs / coils... On the 370 I wouldnt go black handles on a white car, I would go white and then I would get the mirrors wrapped. IMO of course!
  17. Set of ClearCorners in mine. You can send the UK ones to Mike and get him to mod them, I think Paul (P15ULT) still has a set or can get you sorted out over here. Its not a quick mod, so your best to get a spare set and get them done and then sell the replacements once yours are back...
  18. Guessing your not reading the US forum.... If you did you wouldnt be recommending them!
  19. John at JC autorefinishing.... personally wouldnt go anywhere else! Tell him Mark with the Silver 350z or Dan with the Blue one sent you! Number is in my sig, Good Luck!
  20. Currently dont run with a jack (crap nissan one broke!) or a spare (weight reduction!) .... Its called breakdown cover!!
  21. Not missing, discussed on NS some time ago.. Seems its the same across all 370z's But what I couldnt figuer out was that even with the foam that there was no way of lifting the car to get the stuff in if you have got a flat!
  22. Get some DoDo Red Mist too when your at it but let the wax set first for a day or 2 as it acts as a hard protective shield...
  23. Yes. Huge reduction in road and zorst noise
