Sony Alpha A-800 with a 10-20sigma lens on today. Took me 5 hours today, 1.5 cleaning (with new snowfoam lance I got a great deal on!) and 3.5 deicing the hose pipe and repairing the karcher that I broke in the process as it was iced up and I was impatient!

Have you got a tonnau cover and a decent boot mat? Also did you run the dynamat over the rear arches? Only used 2sq meters of dynamat and it made loads of difference...

And then this guy got in the way! Should have turned the lights off but I couldnt due to where I was stopped!

If its spacer or HFC then I would be going spacer that you can fit yourself, think the ones from envy are £180 and then either decats or kinetix, I wouldnt be paying £430 for ultimate racing, not really worth it...then uprev. IMHO of course

Have you had your car dyno'd? With or without the new mods? Yes, when it was totally stock, why? However I have had it dynoed at a different place to Abbey so expect different power outputs from dyno to dyno but will not have a baseline figure at Abbey to compare to which is a shame (I'll be able to see a before and after having the Uprev but not my actual mods). I will however be going back to my original dyno place GT Art (where I have my base numbers, ie when totally stock) after the Uprev and mods but even then it is a few months after my baseline dyno was done but will give me a good idea how well my car has done since it was totally stock. However I am only really interested to know the average gains achieved are with the above kinds of mods so I can know what to expect. As long as my car feels good on the road that is what matters to me which the uprev is supposed to be good for .."nice" numbers are a bonus (but I'm not expecting much of an increase top end, maybe 6 to 8 bhp top end at most with plenum spacer and exhaust). My car definitely feels stronger since I added my new exhaust although I suspect my ecu will be cancelling out any actual gains until I have the uprev remap. I was contemplating adding high flow cats or decats but have been reading more negatives about both with the Nismo Y-pipe - hfc can crack, and with decats they can also crack or worse, you lose low down torque which I definitely don't want. Is a pain as I love the sound of the Berk high flow cats with the Nismo but can't risk them cracking 12 months down the line which appears very common over in the States for those running any kind of hfc with a Nismo y-pipe. So going to keep it simple for now. What did you run at the wheels at Garys? I think I posted before about the decats and exhausts, and how they can crack... Its a very small % of people that have had issues and unless your going to track the car and do stupid things with it you will be fine. just make sure you get the bracket ones. I think I also posted my dyno sheets showing gain in torque and bhp with decats.. As long as its mapped.

Looked into this before but there was issue with the maps on uk fuel. Also there are always variances on the cars so unless you know how to tune a car my preference is to give it too someone that knows they are doing. You will get more out of the car.

Thats why I answered LCD. No need to contemplate plasma. LCD/LED running costs in standby are much cheaper too..(You seen how much power Plasmas run in standby let alone on!... ) I know you said Sony (am a sonyphile too) but I am sooo impressed with the samsung LED 7 series. Great pic, lovely looking and flat as a witches tit. The other thing to contemplate is the colour of the bezel, a 42 in silver looks smaller than a 42 in black. Some 37" come in at about 42" with the bezel, some 42" LCD's come in at 44 with the bezel.. On the wall there isnt that much visable difference depending on viewing distance. When I have fitted for other people one of the easy tests is to cut out a piece of carboard to the dimensions of the tv your considering and put it on the wall, just make sure you space it out the distance from the wall too! The flatter to the wall the tv is the less imposing it is.

Yep, thats the considered opinion.. The tolerance for Speedometer readings is 10% + 2mph over read of speed. The is no tolerance for underreading speed. Tyre wear, pressure and tyre and wheel size will all give innacurracies

yes, the speedo may have said 164 but up at that area the error is multiplied so its more like 145. use a sat nav next time your on an airfiled He did... He said his speedo said 167.. and his satnav said 164....

Yep would say thats fair for the time. Most places normally charge about £10 a corner but that one sounds like it was a PITA Top work for taking time to not damage your wheels

Check the bore though, pretty sure its 2.5 but not 100%

Your gasket that comes off will be shot and will probably break up when you take the zorst off. You got a pic of the exhaust? Interested in the clamp. Thought all 350z exhausts came with bolted up flanges?

if there isnt then there should be. Large Jubilee clip... Is it not bolted between sections? I think its a 2.5 bore exhaust so gaskets are easily available. you just have to make sure the bolt spacing is right.

To be decided when the official specs are out I guess. ATM I like the pics of the 40th Quartz, but also like red, although I have it on good authority that there wont be a red 40th edition, which makes sense given its labelled as "Black Edition" here. I know it does have all the features I want as standard, but I will be shot if I repeat any of them before the press release is out, just hope theres one already built in the configuration I want otherwise its gonna be a long 4 month wait Mercedes do a black edition and its comes in other colours Spec list looks pretty good too:)
