  3. Time on my hands? Ha ha, I guess so. I've been very good and been to the gym and I'm off to the Barbican in a couple of hours so it was either play on the forums or do the ironing and erm, the ironing lost!! It's a bit materialistic .. Showing off that you have an ironing board
  4. Yeah, going to need to fix/change those things..... Great find, looks an ideal base car to build on
  5. Awesome Everything apart from the seats looks spot on
  6. Borrowed an m3, I wasn't impressed enough to buy one
  7. Supercharge ? Hfc's are popular esp with a remap as CS said I believe headers are a mare to fit
  8. I think you are right that jealousy plays a part in some cases judging by the amount of people who are busily telling themselves that their clapped out old shed of a car is way better than any Ferrari they have ever seen - yeah right In other cases though I think it is because the people concerned simply don't want a fast/expensive or whatever car because they genuinely prefer tootling around in their elderly Landy. That doesn't make someone with a nice car materialistic necessarily though. I mean they might be but they might simply like nice cars and have the wherewithal to purchase one? Some people do buy cars to show off their wealth but the majority are enthusiasts who forgo other luxuries to get the car they want The people who are jealous always focus on the negative, asking what's mpg or cost of insurance etc, they have no idea the sacrifices some people have made to get and keep that car These are the people you don't want to park near as they have no concept of taking care of a car or respect for people who do
  9. when buying new you often get given a list of available reg's to choose from ( I always have )
  10. Now we're talking. This is the sort of vehicle I had in mind when I posted this thread. It is likely that it's performance was only marginally better when new I had an Allegro at the same time, positively luxurious and brisk in comparison However shocking they both were to drive, it was a great time to drive, if that makes sense, one minute your going literally everywhere by bmx, roller skates or worst still on public transport and then the next day, you were driving anywhere and everywhere, just because you could and what heaven the roads seemed back then. I remember coming back from London mid winter in a mates old swb landy, no roof, sat in the back in sleeping bags, i can see why the TopGear boys have such a laugh, however staged! Any car from back then with no power steering, no servo on the 4 drum brakes would be a nightmare to drive these days, so just imagine how bad those cars you talk of really were as they were bad in comparison !
  11. Nice to see this kicking off Matt, bet you can't wait
  12. ^^^^^ what Adrian said, reset This is the correct reset for the 370, done it myself a few times, has to be done if the door card is removed
  13. this post was at midnight dont you ever sleepbut the real question is why do people keep calling you Graham ? I do sleep I just like to make the most of my weekends. Got up at 10am "ish" on Saturday & went to bed at 3am on Sunday so a good 17hr day yesterday. The whole "Graham" thing started I think because people on here didn't know what "GM" in my user name stood for. Ian (14N) thought it stood for "Gun Metal" like the colour of my Zed but I told him no it stood for my initials and then one fateful day someone, can't remember who, called me Graham when replying to a post I made. I said "thank you, but who the heck's Graham?" and it just seems to have stuck from there onwards. Kept telling people it's not my name & that my real names Gareth but that didn't help. Even had a T-shirt made, link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/92028-super-cool-custom-made-t-shirt-ready-for-any-shows-meets/ Suppose I could have gotten a worse nickname. It was me... Graham I thought GM was ..
  14. I know I have, ...I can see him chasing some nurses around a park as well. I hadn't realised your house overlooked the park  It actually does, ....well more or less. Close enough to see. GMbinoculars
