  1. Really suits the 350, looks oem imo Glwts
  2. Nope, there wouldnt have been any damage as the shield usually is thin material and would just be rubbing on the disc slightly. Very strange though that they managed to bend the shield. Im assuming you have brembo`s and they really are the easiest pads in the world to change. Literally a 5 minute job each wheel without even touching the shield. pads and discs were replaced
  3. regardless of everyone saying there wont be damage it's worth checking the disc and then if it's damaged you can have the garage replace it before it shapes the pad these dust guards are a favourite for stones to get stuck behind, it makes a right racket
  4. you should check the inside of the disc for scoring, hopefully it was touching the outer edge which would not cause and future problems
  5. ere we go, this what you boyz been axing for yeZ Zurr
  6. much more aggressive look with spacers

    370z Akebono

Hi, I sprayed them with hammerite smooth spray, very light thin coats to build the colour, allow each coat to dry and don't rush, I've used this on my last 3 cars, the last was a 911 I had for 4yrs and they still looked as good 3yrs after I sprayed them It doesn't crack or fade I can give you a contact for the akebono decals if you are using them, I was torn between black or white decals Hth Paul You make it sound so simple Paul, they look great, I think I will give it a go. Akebono decals would be super.....oooo black pm on its way
  11. We are just the cannon fodder if needed
  12. Maybe post in one of tims own threads, he's more likely to look there
  13. Strut brace is easy as that doesn't need masking. I used VHT paint just to be extra-safe on the temperature side. The engine cover is a bit of a pig as I opted to wet sand the silver areas down to get them flat first. Then you have to mask it all up. If I did it again I probably wouldn't bother with the sanding and would just paint it as-is. This is what i did and it worked fine
  14. Have you tried a new battery ? Just incase that one spiked and has discharged
  15. It's not normal, Ive fitted hundreds of pads and discs As above the dust guard would give a horrible loud noise if it's bent and touching the disc Best of luck, post back what it is, may help someone in the future

  17. Daft question, and I ask because I have known it to happen.... Are the pads in the right way round ? Is there any scoring on the discs ? Is it only noisy when you brake ? Are there any metal filings around the caliper or inside the wheel rim ?
