Sometimes it's better to find out who actually makes the discs/pads and buy direct, before Nissan add their slice on This is what I did with my 911, oem parts but not at dealer prices I know akebono make the calipers but no idea what make the discs And pads are ?? Iirc R35LEE was breaking a 370z with 2k miles on the clock, I've sent him a link to this thread IMO the brakes on the 370z are very good and unless you're doing track days or it's cheaper then it's waste of money upgrading

He doesn't have an infinity, he has a 370z and the price is for front discs and pads only

I wouldn't recommend it, I know Colin (Ebized) did something similar and found they warped and warped the discs ! I'm sure he can explain why as I can't remember iirc he tried 20mm +3mm shim

have you checked the battery connections ? if the show n go is fused which it should be, take the fuse out, just to see

Nice to see this getting sorted, so was it oil starvation ? Did it throw a bearing on the crank, seems to be the usual with these when they go or you not sure yet Ah just read above post, usually smokes with oil seals on start up or if you stand and pull away Dr keyser will do a post mortem I'm sure

Nothing much to do with the sale but I thought I'd just mention that from what I've read on here installing the Bose unit in another 350z is quite a task due to it being coded to the car or something?
