If you have a local bodyshop, you could ask them for some panel wipe, this is what they use to remove polish/wax

i would try wd40 if not try neat washing up liquid and wash off, this is a degreaser and washes wax off bodywork - thats why you shouldnt wash your car with it

iirc the ps3 uses a laptop hard drive so it isnt too expensive to upgrade the hard drive and i think you can run an external hard drive aswell if needed

CV joint and bearing are the parts that are replaced. It is quite common... the chamfer between the drive shaft and the universal joint has been increased. Nissan originally said that they had fixed the problem, however it then occurred on later models There are two fixes on the Hi-Tech system AFAIK one involving turning the driveshaft over 180 degrees and re-fixing (temp fix) and one involving replacing the cv joint and bearings

would anyone who has bought an nismo exhaust say that they were disappointed as it is too quiet and too close to the oem sound ? this is my main concern tia for the replies

yup as phil says , it was on ebay but removed after a complaint So I was doing my usual Ebay trawl to see if there was anything interesting and I came across a listing for 'Nismo V1 Style Bodykit' - I recognised the image immediately.... The same kit I sold to this member two weeks ago - on there at double what he paid for it!!! Now don't get me wrong if he does'nt need it anymore and wants to sell it fair enough, and if he can get more money for it no problem. What I don't appreciate is him using my original images and text!!! So I reported it!? Am I being petty or am I right to do so? Thoughts please

has anyone upgraded their main beam bulbs ? after the xenon you switch to main beam and there is little difference, is it possible that the heat generated from say 100w bulb could damage the xenon ? are they h7 ?

maybe a lower price is put on the parcel to incurr lower import duty but it seems the the cost is approx £740 ish to get one from the states as it looks as though two people here have paid that so the seller is trying to recoupe all his costs and if bought from him it would cost more than ordering one new from the states yourself as you will need to pay carriage charges now on top it doesnt seem polite to try to guess how bigphil prices a product tbh anyhoo... bottom line is £740 from the states and take the risk or from bigphil............ Nismo exhaust will be £850 plus £15 next day delivery. Will come with 12 month no quibble warranty. Anything goes wrong you get a new one next day as we will be holding some back not for sale just incase. We even collect the damaged goods at our expense and any claims can be settled by providing pictures of the problem. thats what i've looked for a while - figures to compare

i take it that you have bought one ? and the information you have supplied is correct ? it seemed to me from previous posts from people who have bought one from adam, that was about the total price ? and the seller is trying to recoupe all the costs without loss, which is fair enough it would be handy if someone who has bought one from the states recently could give a total price and if bigphil could put a price forward as iirc he has them in stock this week
