unlikely but have you tried turning the bulb round as led's are directional, have you checked the switch in the dome light ( not turned off ?) Gixxer you hero! That was exactly the problem, all sorted now (just bad luck to put the one LED in the place of a broken bulb the wrong way round). However, both LEDs in the dome have a constant (very) faint glow - even when the car is turned off - is this normal?? Dave that is normal and not a problem mate

You should be fine just check the brakes are free and working, the first stop I would make would be to put some super unleaded in, it's likely that your petrol will have gone off

If you pump the pedal does it feel different ? Have you checked the fluid level ? Tbh if it doesn't feel right I would just take it back

Number plate LEDs make the car look newer imo Not sure if you will get away with the side indicators as led or not, I know you can't change the front or rear without a resistor
