    Zmanalex should be able to help as has already been said. Motors can be rebuilt /reconditoned. Any independent softop specialist should be able to sort out the problem at a fraction of the cost. Best of luck with it all

    Norton is a good allrounder in my opinion. AVG is good for a free AV programme and is excellent for android based tablets and phones

    As you have been away for a month it is probably that the battery has just died as the alarm has been on. It is that time of year when you find out just how good your battery is. I know the RAC will come out to you and fit a new one for around £90 even if you are not a member. I know you don't want to spend out if your existing battery is ok, but if it is old may be worth doing and you can kill two birds with one stone sort to speak.

    Definitely the way to go. Make sure you go for a good brand with good read and write speeds. As has already been said make sure you back up your data. When they go wrong that is it.
