lots of cheap hotels down the Hagley Road but make sure you book a hotel and not a 'doss house' as the two can look pretty similar from a distance

No good point. This is a 'National' Christmas get together in central England so it is easy to get to for everyone. Whilst people are welcome to drive if they want but it is a meal with a club afterwards, not a car meet. There are bags of cheap hotels to book and lots going on and more importantly people can get there by train or coach and don't have to drive for a change. I hope this answers any questions on the event and why it is.being held in Birmingham at a central location

I remember not that long ago someone was selling a complete roof unit brand new for £150.00 Just goes to show how supply and demand can make a difference to what something costs. Just as an idea,have you tried contacting some of the MX5 roof replacement specialists? They may be able to help for a lot less.
