The time has come where my front tyres desperately need replacing - totally worn out on the inside edges - hence the hideous tyre noise. However, the back ones look fine. I'm going to order a full set of Falkens from Camskill but am wondering the best place to take them to have them fitted, whether it's worth trying to get them delivered direct to a fitter (or will that pee them off). Also, the tracking was checked when I had it serviced and the mechanic said it was straight so are my tyres worn like that for some other reason? Finally, what would you do with the rears? Leave them or take them home?

Yep, I agree - I keep checking my 2003 to see if it needs a top up but nope - never has! Unlike the type R which I had to top up every now and then. I haven't had any problems with mine yet - other than the tyres which I'm just in the process of getting sorted.

Quite an interesting program last night about car theft. They went into the Thatcham organisation to show how difficult it is to take a car without the keys nowadays. This led on to a visit to the Nissan factory where they were interviewing people stood around a Zed.

I used to regularly wave to a guy in a chilli red Z on my way to work but he never waved back and actually looked quite mortified! I started going to work earlier and never see him now - until this morning! I finally extracted a nod out of him! (probably thinks I'm stalking him.............)

i didn't realise that - my car was MOT'd in May. How do they test it without doing that then?

Should be: From the North East A19 A1237 A64 A1079 From Leeds area A64 A1079 From anywhere else don't ask me - just post code the sat nav! Remember if we meet up before hand you will be effectively ignoring the Elvington turn off and re-joining it later off the A1079 Hull road. I have no idea what time people normally start arriving at this event.

it has to be signed off by the MOT testing centre and then you have to post it to the vehicle defect officer. But in theory yes you could then swap it back.

did you check the mileage on yours? Maybe they took it for a mega blast up the motorway and got it back to yours before you got home!
