You'll have to have N12 MOA on front and back to be legal and although I never got fined it was a pain having to take the car to an MOT centre with the new plates etc - a fine would have been easier! Having said that, I said dozens of miss - spaced plates every day - I think you're an easier spot in a Z but you could risk it and get away with it.

No I got pulled for miss-spacing mine as N11XY on the top row with the D underneath. I've now legally got N11 XYD all on one line in the middle. It helps that I have number 1's in there as they are smaller and you can have slightly smaller letters on a JDM plate. So if I've got 6 then 5 should be fine.

Was on about 9.30pm so you probably didn't realise - what with the world superbikes and bsb all on yesterday as well. I haven't watched the GP yet - did sky+ it though to watch later - sounds like a good one!

What me? bloody hell you must be joking! Edit: Right ok Ive had a bit of a think. The A1079 Hull road runs parallel with the B1228 to Elvington - on that road there is a massive layby - you know the sort of thing - truckers cafe etc. If we met up there all we have to do is take a right turn across a short country lane to get back on the Elvington road - its not out of the way at all and would be the easiest way of spotting each other rather than in a large park and ride. If you want to do that let me know and I'll put some clear directions up for you. There - I've even surprised myself! have you bought advance tickets or are you paying on the gate?

well for those coming from the north east down the A19 - Rawcliffe Bar park and ride is right there on the A19 York roundabout but for anybody coming from elsewhere like the A64 it's well out of the way - most directions will end up at Grimston Bar roundabout where the A64 meets the A1079 and there is also a park and ride there. The airfield itself is inside an industrial estate to you could equally converge just outside in one of the factory carparks then just go in together. Up to you really.

Went to see this at the pics last night with a mate - the cinema was jam packed and we had to sit near the front cricking our necks! What I can't understand was why we seemed to be the only ones in the cinema thinking "what the hell is this?" and trying to stifle our laughter. When Pierce Brosnan started singing we daren't even look at each other in case we couldn't stop laughing! Is it just me or has anyone else been to see this?

to be honest it depends what you're meeting up for? If it's just so you can go down in convoy then the park and rides are a good idea although there is one nearer than Rawcliffe. Grimston Bar Park and Ride is about 10 mins from Elvington Airfield. Elvington itself is really easy to find and get to.

I just clicked that link thinking this will be another Tim'ism that will be too hard for me to do if ever I need one but I am shocked at the simplicity!
