    Dilemma

you can advertise at a fixed price (classified ad) on ebay so they don't take a cut - think the ad is about £15 but you can put as much detail as you like. They don't take the normal percentage for cars in an ebay auction anyway, it's a different rate or nobody would use them.

how come everyone tells you everything.................it must be that trusting face!
  8. I use all sorts of stuff - two of my favourite things are a quick or speed detailer spritzed over the car while drying it - makes it easier to dry as it disperses the water and adds a bit of wax at the same time. I've got megs speed detailer at the mo but there are others out there. Best wax i've used so far is Einzett Glanz Wax which really brings out the glittery flake bits in the paint. As Bronzee says, lots of microfibre cloths are a must and the best by far that I have ever used is the E-Cloth http://www.ecohamster.co.uk/product_inf ... ts_id=8668 You can get an e-cloth pack for the car but if you only ever use these two you will be amazed - the thick one to get streaks off when drying and the thin one for glass - never used microfibres as good before but remember not to use fabric conditioner when you wash them!
  9. Think you'd better take some red bull stan if you want to keep up with them!.................

I hope he hasn't been kidnapped by aliens.............see, I'm worrying again!
  11. its a proper petrol head kind of day, no fancy stalls and ice cream vans - some serious drivers competing so its the kind of thing you will either love or will bore you to death as there's not a lot else to do there. Think it's a case of take something to sit on and some food! Be a good day if it's sunny.
  12. Firstly I'd definitely get a quote from a non Nissan bodyshop - in fact I wouldn't bother with Nissan at all after some of the reports of their work on here! I got the entire roof sprayed on my CTR for £200 by someone local that was recommend on a local car forum so it might be worth asking around. In my opinion people will be put right off by even minor damage and think you haven't looked after it.
  13. Very nice man in a red 06 on the York Ring road on my way to work this morning - I say nice because he waved back! What a nice feeling on a monday morning........
  14. we know you love it really Mart! Sad thing is that in 1985 I was 37 you were 17 applied to me - now that is scary! (and before anyone says it I was 17 not 37!)

    Dilemma

yes but if you had to sell it for rock bottom trade in price wouldn't you rather do that to an individual rather than a dealer if you could - maybe its just me being soft.
