    New BMW Z4

its ok i suppose (dont like the roof) but shall we have a bet as to how long it takes before they become as common as muck and nothing special? Folding hard top will be the selling point i guess.
  2. its one of those occassions that you actually wish it said Nissan Courtesy car in big letters all over it. And if possible a sign in the back saying my real car is a 350Z! You know you'll spot lots of Zeds now and won't be able to wave don't you.......
  3. I knew you were gonna say that! He's promised to get it soon honest!
  4. Big thumbs up from a chap in an azure soft top just near rawcliffe roundabout in York about 8.30am today. I waved back of course! Forgot to mention an 06 Azure I saw in tesco car park last friday - rather attractive bloke but I was in a mondeo with 3 wheel trims so I decided against parking next to him for a chat and skulked off!
  5. and next time - sun shade, cool box and bbq! But of course it will rain!
  6. This happened to me once but not with paypal, with my actual debit card. They start off by just taking doing small amounts at a time so you won't notice - they took two lots of about 20 quid and then it went up to about 80. got it back thank god.
  7. Yep, thanks guys I'd be bored stiff without you lot!
  8. Oi cheeky! I lasted in the heat a bit longer than Lexx but now have red arms and nose! I won't tell you how red he was but I think he might be in pain tonight! Anyway, we've seen it all now - an old school Ford Granada (and I mean like 1970 something by the look of it) running over 750bhp (900bhp according to the programme) and giving skylines a run for their money! Not to mention a rear wheel drive mini with a hyabusa engine! djtimo has pictures I think. Saw Kev from envy too in his supra and went and had a look at his Zed too. But it was SO hot..........
  9. Oh my god - Sarnie didn't have anything to add - it must be one hell of a car!
  10. Hiya, I'm an ex CTR owner as well, there seems to be a few of us! You'll love the Zed.
  11. I'm actually speechless! That is so well done and so far away from being boy racer it's fab!
  12. Thank god for that - another woman! Don't forget to put some sun tan lotion on or you will fry!
  13. yes i did thanks. But also saw this: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... ht=#193909
  14. I thought that myself and I'm only up the road! If we're going to be there that long maybe bring a chair in your boot! Just to confirm - the layby cafe is only half a mile down the A1079 from where you join it at Grimston Roundabout - its well signposted and is on the left.
  15. its no mamma mia then?
  16. can't believe this is still for sale! Hope it goes to a good home!
  17. I've known they were wearing unevenly for a while (especially with the roaring noise) and had the tracking checked which was ok apparently. Just been trying to hang onto my credit card for as long as possible!
  18. They've got the list of competitors up on the site now - talk about a long list of quick cars! http://www.totb.co.uk/home/
  19. To be fair we don't know how much the buyer is asking for the car so it's hard to know if it's worth it or not but as the others said it is a buyers market and there are some nice one's out there (like ollies). The only thing on the list I can vouch for is the uneven tyre wear on the fronts which I understand is more to do with the original bridgestone tyres than the car.
  20. Right, just done a bit of research and here is the results for prices on Falken 452's on size 18's: Falken.co.uk Fronts: 91.59 each Rears: 98.86 each Delivery £20 a set Camskill Fronts 88.20 each Rears 95.40 each delivery included Black Circles Fronts: 93.26 each Rears: 95.43 each delivery included and 5% club discount to be taken off this price. This makes black circles cheapest (with discount) and presumably if you go for the fitted option you also get discount off that? I'm going to give my local fitter a call and see if they can beat the price or at least the fitting price then go with Black Circles I think.
  21. I thought that was odd as well - wheels like mine on an 06. Then again if they were using it as a security testing vehicle maybe they put old bits on to mess about with. Did you notice the Consultant bloke who had been burgled talking about his old 350Z?
