  1. You won't be polishing through the laquer on the black 350 as there isn't any. Its a single based colour with no laquer. People think that polishing doesn't really do much but when you have seen a car that has been done properly it looks sooooooooooooo much better than other colours. The shine off it will be so crisp.
  2. I still don't think they have gone down much. Those cars have an above avergage millage on them for the Z and thus are going to be the ones that were cheaper and there were no cars of that value around as there were no cars with that millage around. If you look at the ones out there that had 20K and now have 25/30K on them they have not changed much. Maybe 1K lost which is not bad going IMO. Also as mentioned - colour plays a major part with it - the greys will have lost more compared with the black/reds which is why that search turns up mostly greys when you go down the price bracket Those pistonheads adverts don't even mention colour which is just silly. Looks like most of that autotrader search was mostly silvers - also some imports which will be worth less than UK. Also laughed at seeing that black one. They were trying to sell that same car 9 months ago lol. Looking at this search - these prices are virtually they same as when I bought mine http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/ca ... &keywords=
  3. IMO that does not reflect the prices of most cars out there. There are always going to be people out there that get a stoking deal for various reasons. Maybe colour has something to do with it - what colour was that? the more common silvers or rares blues/black/reds?
  4. Looking at the market at the moment against when i got mine last summer the prices have barely moved
  5. Thats the wrong kind of attention though
  6. Worth getting just for washing down the car. I'll probably get one and not bother with the shampoo. £20 gets me a cheap water softener for the next year or so. Clean the car as normal with the power jet then wash down with softened wate = no water marks
  7. I can supply a CD with some free software off the web. Unfortunatly the software I have - Digimoto can only be registered to a single machine. I could try contacting them and seeing if I can get another activation code.
  8. Got any more pictures where your not so close to the car. Pics are a bit too close to see the effect of the whole car. Like the black standard wheels - cheap change that makes all the difference
  9. Ah yes there are different protocols i.e. all the VAG engines use a difference one and this would NOT work with them No Problems with questions - anything that clears any confusion up is good.
  10. To advertise on DW you have to pay £5 so I am trying other forums first
  11. Yes I have used this on my 350z. I can get some pictures & video if you want. I think you are getting mixed up in terminology. The CAN-BUS is the type of network the cars use, ISO is the specific protocol that the 350z and many other cars use.
  12. Getting rid of it as I don't use it enough and it will help out saving for a trip to Whistler next year
  13. It can be used to turn a car looking like this to It can be used to remove light scuffs etc Turn a pink car red again From to On my car even just using a very very mild compound gave the black soo much more depth

  15. This auction is for an ODB-II interface compatible with the 350z. What exactly can you do with this ISO-Protocol Interface and the Software? In general, this interface, together with a computer and software making a powerful and flexible scanning tool at home. 16. Hmm very lush. Love the Kahn range of wheels. Would be my first choice if I could afford them.
  17. One of the best things about these is the water softeners in these - good to use even if its just for the final wash down to stop all the water marks

  19. Gave up watching and watched the Apprentice
  20. Looks good although would have gone for Alcantara centre sections. Soo much nicer in both hot and cold weather and still looks cool.
  21. 99% won't be there to fit replacement windows. I went to one of my local ones and he did a great job. Just had to give him my insurance details. Had a bit of a chat to him about the business. Most are franchised but then once they have done it for a while a lot start trading on thier own so they don't have to pay the franchise costs. if they cannot repair it they won't get a penny as 99% of people will just go through their insurance.
  22. Hmm You sure you need the PAC ROEM kit? A friend who is an installer said its possible to use the BOSE system with any aftermarket HU using an autoleads standard adapter (might be micra) and then there is just 1 extra conection you have to make to get the bose amp to turn on. I will see if I can get the info from him.
  23. I've found P21s great for that wet wet look BUT it does not last long. I found Blackfire Wet Diamond gave just as good a shine and wet look but it lasted much longer. Collinite 915 is also meant to last much longer
