Looks like a new colour combination of the interior. Was it pure white leather?

I'm good friends with a dealer so get to play with lots of head units . Getting to try them out in my own car is quite handy for direct comparison rather than the unrealistic instore cabinets that are used.

When you say you compared then did you listen to them playing through exactly the same amp/speakers?

Which forums? The others I am on will all show Alpine coming out top by a mile. The quality of Alpine Head units IMO is much better than the other major brands out there (excluding the lower budget ranges when bang for buck there might be better out there)

Did you not speak to your local Nissan dealer for the Bose cover - I asked a while back and I am sure it was only a few quid - was supprised at how cheap it was

funny you should say that. From the reviews of the 452s I think i am just going for them as the only criticism I have found on forums have been not great on hard track use but i am not going to be doing that.. Had falkens before and have always been pleased with them

IMO I think its not worth the investment. Going with a folding roof is going to add more cost and weight. The Z is a fairly heavy already and shedding a few pounds would really transform it rather than adding a few pounds.

Those seats are VERY confortable. A friend had them in his car and it was the one thing out of his car I would have taken without any hesitation.

yeah the Utopias can be a bit bright, especially the berilium(sp?) range.

On a motorway journey with the cruise control locked on 80mph I can normally get around 30mpg. Slower and it can go up but I have never seen more than 34mpg out of a tank (i.e. some local driving + long motorway journey)

Are you looking to put something in the stock enclosure? If so then you will need to get something custom built - you can get a 10" sub in there but it will probably cost you £100+ to get a box built to go in there (or import one from the US although I think they are £150+) Why do you want to replace the rear. Just disconnect them. If you have a properly amped front stage then you will not miss the rears at all. The sound is designed to be played infront of you not behind.

What do you count as mid-price range? Are you looking to amp the full system or just the sub? A recommended system would be Amp : Audison: LRx 4.5 Front Comps : Focal 165K2P Rear Comps : None - Waste of money in a car the size of a Z Sub : Orion H2 10.2 - 10" subwoofer or Focal Cost ~£900-£1000

I doubt the figure was that large at all. You have way too many unknowns to come up with a figure. The fact you filled up with the DTE saying 20 miles but then did not fill up till way beyond that and was supprised how far you got on the red light means you could have covered lets say another 40/50 miles. On such a small sample that could mean you actually got 10mpg less The only way to come up with any sort of reliable number is to work it out from a full tank. An empty tank can't be used as you never know how much there is in there as the DTE can't be trusted and the gauge is not accurate enough.

It would be the standard wheels - or any other wheels I can pick up dirt cheap. Can't really afford a new set of wheels and should be able to do simple refurb/ colour change myself without too many problems.

yeah it was its first outing in the public although they still kept bits covered up. Part of the deal of it being run up the hill was that it was not put on static display.

Complete and utter joke IMO When you are in prision you should work to earn your keep. There are plenty of jobs out there that they could do. If they don't work then they get NO chance of early release

As good as the R8 looked today with it sitting up near with the 911s and the Astons I would still take the Astons as they just look so nice. Might only give 95% of the performance of the others but the looks and luxury make up for it.

Ah i see. Still intreeged to see why its out with another protoype from another company. I think I have more chance of winning the lottery twice than seeing two protoypes of difference makes out on the road behind each other

Where on earth did you hear that? That is ridiculous There are much better and cheaper ways of disguising a car without doing that sort of thing, which I'm not sure they'd get away with anyway! Besides I work with the guy driving it, so unless he's moved to Toyota in the last week, it's definately a Nissan! You live in Germany? It was also spotted out test driving with another Toyota prototype
