  1. Thats really good - Im impressed with that. Ive just seen this of a mate in the states new setup ............. How does he clean/wash under his wheel arch? Jack the car up?
  2. Good man Chris, it`ll be good fun for an hour or 2!! Jerry Never is an hour to 2 though is it, its normally like 4-5hrs I think Amanda will end up smashing my laptop up if it does work
  3. Used to play, but only have laptops now. Not sure if my lappy GFX card will handle it. Used to play it load back in uni, drunken knife fights were awesome! Will see if I can find my old Stream ID and get it installed and see if it works
  4. I beleive all that happens to it over time is the octane rating drops. You might get away using it in lawnmowers etc as the others have suggested. Also try the local firebrigade, they might have a use for it in training!
  5. Dont think you could run quick enough! Better off with a flaming arrow from a distance or leave a trail of petrol as a fuse More then happy for you to show me how its done chris, your only down the road! No thanks mate

  7. ^^^ what he said. Also wait for Alex to post up. I'm sure he said that tappet adjustment was quite a big job (he mentioned it being easier with the engine out ), but an inderpendant will be way less than Nissan if thats the case. Bit of a shady area WRT to warrantee as it will be a wear and tear item, but if it was sold in good faith that nothing was wrong, they couldnt have worn in a few thousand miles. Mine has done 72k now and never had them adjusted and runs just fine.
  8. Lol thats some pretty good car control. I was waiting for it to fly off the bridge when it was going backwards and ramping up the barrier! You wouldnt get take downs like that over here!
  9. thanks Rich. It will be used wisely We gotta keep the Admin on side somehow

  12. No chance! You need a standard Zed up on bits of wood, let alone a lowered one. I dont know of any reasonably priced jacks that can lift a standard Zed with no wood. I was looking in the region of £70+ to get a low profile one, but sod that, this is far cheaper!
  13. Wash mitt man, not brush, how many times Next Wales Run is in Oct, and then again in May I think Bigger numbers in May as quite a few of us are on the Jockland hoon in Sept and cant do both Wales and Scotland. I'm only using the brush to get to the places where the spokes reach the dish, the washmitt won't fit in there. Using this type btw Phew I had images of you attacking them with a Halfords cheapo wheel brush
  14. Indeed. I think I paid a tenna a pop for the jack and axle stands (2 pairs), even at £20 all it it was dirt cheap. They are exactly the same ones Halfords sell too. I dont think anyone knows they do them so they cant shift them hence the cheap price! Great for us though and lifts a Zed no problems, even though we are a lardy 1.5T

  16. Spot on. Everyone in the US that has changed them has the problem with hotspots, the originals have them too, just not as noticable. Not a lot you can do about it from what I've seen
  17. CS and Envy are the people to speak to, I think they can both source the refills Do you want this in the Wanted section?
  18. If I want to take the wheels off one at a time and give them a good cleaning, would a scissor jack not be the best thing to use? I'm a total newbie when it comes to things like this! (sorry for the thread jack!) Not the best thing to use, but it would work. But you can get a trolley jack and axle stands from Wickes for next to nothing! £3.66 trolley jack (2 tonne) - http://www.wickes.co.uk/2-Tonne-Light-D ... nvt/190381 £1.71 axel stands (2 tonne) - http://www.wickes.co.uk/2-Tonne-Foldabl ... nvt/190385 They work just fine, I used mine loads of times. The prices have really dropped, the trolley jack was a tenna when I got mine!
  19. Try as you might, we all know what I saw! Isnt lying to a mod a bannable offence?
  20. Good progress. Are you going to do anything to address the hot spotting? Seems thats a major problem to those that have done it in the US before. Even on the dials (that do look damn good!) you can see some brighter and duller areas. Looks much nicer than stock though
  21. Very nice. See you at the next Wales run then? More fun with 50 Zeds
