  1. Yeah do it proper rally slag stylee all the way home!
  2. +1, do that and do it quick, before someone else does As the others have said you will never be original unless you go very extreme like Pauls green machine. I thought my Varis lip was quite rare until a container load landed for one of the traders then every bugger had one You just have to make nice little tweaks to make it look different.
  3. Forgot about that thread, well remembered
  4. It's a hard life. Can see you arm twisted behind your back. It has its benefits, like attending meets and seeing massive amounts of these glorious cars all lined up and sparkling and hooning around the finest roads this rock has to offer Quarantine and cold turkey is the only way. But no one has ever managed it without a ban yet
  5. 1. what are the purpose of spacers? To change the stance of the wheels, fill out the arches properly 2. do they make the car handle better or worst? Make near to sod all difference unless you are tracking it, even they you prob wont notice 3. what's the best size to go for? Depends on what wheels, but 20-25mm at a guess, see CS thread 4. does anything else need to be done when these are fitted? (alignment etc) Shouldnt need doing unless your car is lowered. But might be worth a check when you next get tyres 5. does anyone have good pics to show the difference in stock and with spacers fitted? See CS thread he PMd
  6. £6.5k How did you get 6.5k? My JDM was 9k with outstanding finance on the car and no service history 53 plate, 73k miles. All the rest of it was in good nick, full service history. How many miles have you done? I wont be selling it so I dont care
  7. Cant hear it at work, but if its a Nismo and intake/plenum spacer, they all sound very similar and I love my Nismo The place I most appreciated it was at the airfield day I did it when the missus went flat out off the line with me standing beside the car, sounds sooooo nice!
  8. I can ban you both if that will help you overcome your addiction? Its perfectly normal to want to spend lots of time on here. Unlike quite a few other car forums, we are a real community helping each other in so many other things that just the cars. Always lots of banter on here too, but it does make a very busy life for a Moderator!

    True dual Y-pipe

Thats what I'd do. Same diameter all the way then I wouldn't even bother the y piece tbh. I'd just run 2 pipes from the cats I thought there was something to be had from the cross flow of combining both sides. Cant remember where I read it mind

  11. I think he should definately use House of Kolor paint, it looks so damn sexy! If I was having a respray and my car wasnt a daily driver, it would have House of Kolor on it
  12. Yup, that will be a sight to see! I'm really supprised hes coming back.
  13. You shouldnt have to machine correct it very often at all after the initial correction, using the 2BM method of washing will keep away the swirls. You can however use the machine to apply non-abrasive(ish) polish such as AG SRP every 6 months to keep it looking tip top and also use for applying wax if you like. You shouldnt do correction often, thats the key.
  14. Hmm sounds more like a clicky axel then, or something stuck inside a disc cover or something.
  15. Is the sound a squeeky sound or a clicky sound?
  16. I'd be interested - dates and commitements allowing!
  17. Nowt wrong with posting them if you clearly state its using 120RON
  18. Do you have a 120 octane map now then? What were the dyno results for it?
  19. Sounds like the Aux belts need tightening. Theres a thread on here about how to change them if you search, which includes a bit on how to tension them properly. Use that and tighten them up and you should be good to go if the belts are in good condition. If they are cracked then they'll need replacing which again is quite easy
  20. +1 on that. The fact that Abbey, Adam@Z1 and Alex all say they dont work on NA cars is enough for me never to get one! Let alone the countless threads on my350z.com
  21. Sounds like a good starter list for me. What you soon learn is just to give new products a go, so only buy small bottles and tubs to start with unless you end up wasting them when you want to try something new and you are only half way through one
