  1. Not heard that before, does it happen when moving too? Or stationary? Aux belts have been known to squeek when cold if they are a bit loose.
  2. Thing I noticed with these sites is anything relatively new (<1.5yrs old) they give a reasonable figure. Anything older and they screw you over. That site actually helped my part-Ex my old Leon for more than the Glass guide price against my Zed. I bumped the dealers up £1k from what they wanted to offer me based on the sites quote being even higher
  3. define "nice orange" does it exist? *sound of pattering feet as husky runs away from the orange crew* NOTE before im killed: i dont mind the orange really, just not my taste Dont worry, you wont get killed, just I quite like the Zele orange
  4. Ian has a Nismo ECU Shows that the car can do when mapped for performance and presumably not to pass any emmisions tests!

    Audi TTRS

You dont need to be sliding at all for TC to kick in, just spinning a wheel faster than the others
  6. Now you know why I havent tackled the dials All manufacturers are the same, they know you can only get the bits from them, and you need them, so they whack a massive margin on it. They will try and sell you crap like it has to come from Japan and thats what pushes the price up, but its crap as my dome light came from the Netherlands (it was stamped on the packet!). They do it because they can. Fortunately the OP is covered by warrenty so doesnt have to pay I am still supprised that the guage works down so far and then fails. If it were at fault you'd expect it not to work at all. Maybe there is some crap stuck in the driver servo or something stopping it from turning. To me its more likely to be a sticky float, but Im no technician!
  7. I tested my Zed and Leon on Tesco 99RON vs their 95RON and get more than enough extra in MPG to warrant the extra cost. I've seen a couple of tests that show Tesco to come out top, so it does me
  8. Nissan electronics aint cheap! My BCM and dome lights went (under warrenty), BCM - £500, dome lights - £150
  9. Looks good mate You'll be fine with a DA on the Zed, as the random orbit removes a lot of the power from it which means it cuts a lot slower than a rotary. Start with a soft pad and light cut compound and you'll be fine Also as Stew and Immy said, watch that bracelet and cable. The cable on the Kestrel is quite short, but on DetailingWorld there is a chap that sells uber flexible cable by the meter. I bought 10m off him and it makes such a difference. You can run around the whole car from one power socket and nicely put it over your shoulder. Well worth it for the £10-15 it costs

    True dual Y-pipe

Maz, I think you need to let they traders know which exhaust it will be used with
  11. WTF lol My guess would be the whole cluster needs changing, not just the fuel part. Husky you should know that, you've had the gauges apart
  12. There will be no difference in the map, whether its reflash or piggyback. Piggyback will give you more logging options and reflash keeps some OEM ECU features which are no in a piggyback. The maps will be the same and come down to how good the mapper is. Whether you use piggyback or reflash makes no difference.
  13. I dont have the paint code unfortunately. I just took pics and they matched it last time. Maybe this time they will ask me which colour I want as bronze has a lot of shades!
  14. Last time I got mine done, I took loads of pics of the shade I wanted. They said they could only get close, but IMO it was spot on my350z.com forums are your friend for loads of pics!
  15. As Mart points out, the roads for the Wales Runs (North Wales) and Jockland Hoon (Scotland) are well worth checking out. Come along and enjoy some cracking roads and socialising
  16. Mine are going bronze next, hopefully before the Jockland Hoon
  17. If Mitz gives them the thumbs up, then they should be good
  18. How many miles has it done? The only thing I can think of is the clutch.
  19. Ben perhaps? Indeed it was. Didnt know he was going until Tuesday last week Big question is, was he any good? Amanda thinks 4WD is for wussies, shes a real driver
  20. Good work again chap, bet the owner was well chuffed, good as new (if not better than new!)
  21. The massive tyre tracks he left would suggest he managed to hit the brakes. Infact on the in car footage, you could see the tyres locking up so he must have been braking
  22. The power is feelable, but not when hooning it IMO. Where you feel it is when cruising about 40-60MPH and you put your foot down. There is noticably more grunt. When hooning it though, its all about top end power, and this doesnt net you much of that at all.
