  1. This is true! Sorry, you should have said on the day that was the reason We thought we were stood up
  2. Sounds odd. Does it appear in the Sent messages? Sure one of the Admins will be along shortly with some ideas. They've been working fine for me
  3. you've put 2lts of oil in. Thats excessive use or never had enough put in in the first place. The Z takes 4.7ltrs of oil when doing a oil and filter change. To top up you should never need more than 1ltr i think +1 1ltr per 1000 miles is the accepted max use I think something like that. 2ltrs straight off the bat is madness!
  4. Also the better your tyres are, the less often you loose traction anyway. A better right foot will have you loosing traction less too TBH I think you should always have TC on when on public roads. You should never be planning to loose traction on the public roads and you cant be 100% on it all the time daily driving. When that time comes, TC will save you. The amount of members that have binned it without TC on vs on is testiment to that.
  5. Sorry, misread your other post. Whats E5? Google is your friend - http://www.maxol.ie/general-content/e5- ... swers.html
  6. The main thing we need to know is budget. That really dicatates what you're going to be able to get
  7. Check the FAQ section, we're working in it - Top 100 FAQs - viewtopic.php?f=17&t=25803
  8. You guys crack me up with some of your suggestions! Do the usual turn it off and on again, should sort it. No need to reset the router or anything. Will be an idea to reboot the laptop when you're done too, just to clear out any settings it might have temporarily saved stopping it from seeing the network. Vista is a bit pants when it comes to networks, but a quick reboot normally does the trick even when Diagnose and Repair doesnt work
  9. It lifts the plenum slightly to get more air into the front 2 cylinders making more midrange torque. I think. There is a group buy on a carbon fibre plenum plus spacer for about 250quid Pretty much. On a stock Zed (before the 2007+ models), the front 2 cylinders were slightly starved on air. This caused them to run rich compared to the others and lose power. The plenum spacer evens up the airflow to the front 2 cylinders and thus balances out the air mix a bit making slightly more power and a bit of torque.
  10. Brought the comments to the chat thread Of course
  11. +1 - there are many upgraded parts you can buy for the price of the OEM discs and pads. I have EBC Ultimax discs and DS2500 pads, a cracking combo

My current car is that loud. When your on a b road it can make your ears ring. I'm glad you don't live on my street. +1 or have to give me a lift anywhere!
  13. Very nice matey Drove one at Thuxton and my god are they nice Remember to pull the magic fuse for 24/7 exhaust loveliness and I'll be round next weekend to detail and drive it
  14. So is the winner the one who completes a lap without crashing?
  15. Yes it would be very good for you. Dont worry, I'm sure we'll be along to others in the year or next year. When I get my backside into gear I will book a dedicated 350z-uk day but due to lack of interest on this one (after good initial interest) I'm not conviced we'd fill it
  16. Good stuff Might be able to use Photoshop to lighten up some of the pics whilst not burning out the highlights, but I guess you're not bothered by that! They look cool all the same
  17. Looking good chap Maybe try bracketing shots next time if you have an SLR and HDR them together to bring up the highlights but keep the shadows
  18. No, that doesnt matter, the order is tied to your session and cookie (temp file that holds the session). We wont ever be able to see your order! Linking to the product is the only way we can see it.
  19. Chris`I

    filter?

Plenum spacer first, then intake and exhaust (doesnt matter on the order with them)
  20. They are pretty rare on my 75 mile round trip route to work. Seems however that there are loads in Aberdeen!
  21. Agree with what the others have said. Its pretty good and quick to kick in, but thats not a warrent to drive like a hoon when its wet, but you know that from the car you are coming from
