Indeed, a higher Kelvin rating will just make it more blue, but may make it look "better" too - not brighter. But are 55w HIDs legal on UK roads? I know that you arent allowed more than 55w for normal bulbs but not the limit on HIDs.

As the others have said, if the claim is still pending then they will take the view that it could be your fault and adjust premiums based on that, otherwise they are taking a risk assuming you're being honest to find that then theres a massive claim against you. I was very lucky when I was reveresed into. The owner came round my friends house (where I was) straight away and appologiesd. They called the insurance straight away the next morning then left me a message with the claim number. Looking back I was very lucky!

I'd go for a Shine Auto kit or other replica tbh (from a reputable source!). The original Nismo is fiberglass IIRC so not good if you catch it. Shine Auto is polyurethane I beleive so more flexible and forgiving and very good fit. Both CS and Envy supply these kits I beleive. As for the uprated struts, Adam@Z1auto or Envy are your best bets

CS and Envy (Chillli Red ^^ ) will put you on the right track, both offer some different alternatives so see which one fits you best

My tyres (Falkens) suggest 50PSI max so I set mine to 45PSI. They say the reason is so that when you slide, the tyre wont fold under the rim and cause the rim to drag over the road. That might be the case, but I think its mainly to reduce friction, which it does well. I'll probably go for 40-45PSI this time around

Thats a very good price in my opinion. +1 an excellent job for the price. It would be atleast twice that where I live Now make sure you use the 2 bucket method for washing to keep those swirls away

Not many around here have done it, not least without FI. Try searching my350z.com, much more done it on there. From what I gather it makes near to sod all difference, especially for the cost.

+1 You might like to give Centrafuse a go too. Its a proper commercial car PC front end and its very nice these days. I've been running it for over 3yrs in different guises now and it very rarely crashes.

Both use UpRev chap. So if they both mapped it on the dyno, you'd get near as damnit the same result. What Abbey are planning to offer is a generic map(s) for members who have specific upgrades already made ready to go. So say you have plenum spacer, intake and exhaust, they can apply their generic map and its good to go. No need for the dyno work. Now in theory, it wont get you quite as much power as the proper dyno session (Abbey can advise), but may get you most of the way there, for hopefully, quite a bit less cost as you cut out a few hours on the dyno. You can always add to it and have a dyno session afterwards for a proper tune. I've been banging on about someone doing this for ages Revo do it for the VAG cars and offer various generic tunes based on what mods you have. The ECU should be able to tune (tweak) itself enough for the small variations between cars with the same mods
