  1. +1 I find that some big sealable freezer bags are perfect for storing stuff. If I am doing some machining over 2 days, I find you are able to put them in the bag (without washing) and they are still good to go the next day - assuming they werent too clogged up from the day before.
  2. I think if it wasnt so bright, I'd like it. Maybe an anthracite colour or black? A bit more subtle and I think it would look nice and different. All down to personal taste
  3. I think it would look good, but I would go for a darker tone of bronze over a lighter one if it were me. I think that would look excellent. My Rotas are going bronze next, I think its a wicked colour for wheels
  4. Sealant protects the paint just like wax, however its synthetic and not natural. Benefits are it will bond with the paint and be longer lasting than wax, however it can dull the finish a little. I seal Amandas car as its dead easy and lasts ages. I wax mine as it looks better but requires more maintanance. Doing both is the best of both worlds
  5. I've heard reports of 175MPH on the speedo, which corrected would be what, 165-170ish.
  6. no machine, all by hand Very nice Mike If you have any swirls (surely you must by now ), might be an idea to get it machine polished at some point, it makes a lot more difference than you might think to the finish
  7. Moved to the 350z for sale section. All the best with the sale
  8. OK, we doing that after our evening meal - hmmmmmmmmm a nightime drive out Oooh, that would be interesting. Now where did I put my rally headlights
  9. Aye all personal preference. I was just reflecting the other side But the main reason for coilovers is performce. If you just want to lower it, get lowering spings from Halfords
  10. Good work Dan
  11. Probably easier to book individually then - saves you the hastle too - we'll book our room today then at the Moffatt!
  12. The Moffat wins for us - and trip advisor agrees
  13. And your answers are? Thank you for helping the community
  14. Not sure venturi effects work with a CAI or non short ram intakes. Any CAI you fit will need to have the washer bottle removed as they mount into that part of the bumper. IIRC the only one that has a cold air feed that doesnt need this is the K&N as it keeps the filter in an airbox in the engine bay and has a cold air scoop.
  15. Well people are never going to agree on this, for so many reasons I cant even start to list them here, so lets just say from now on we will be doing seperate stands and meets, and lets not hear any more about it? For an example of why I personally dont want to do joint meets any more, lets take JTS, when I arranged a joint meetup on the way, and you somehow forgot about it, and left us waiting for over 45 minutes before we decided just to head off. Good commitement to "one community" there guys showing the new members that were present just how commited you were (are) to it
  16. Stones are a great dry weather tyre, but they simply arent designed for our wet weather. Get something better on there and the difference will be very noticable:thumbs:
  17. I would recommend some Meg NXT metal polish on the Nismo. It leaves a light coating on the metal which makes it a doddle to wash in future and brings it back to a lovely shine with no effort at all.
  18. Lookin good mate, look forward to seeing how you get on with the BCs, I'm tempted to get some myself. I'll go against the trend and say the ride hight looks fine to me. We're not in the US, we dont need to be slammed. I think it looks shite when you have the tyres tucked into the arches as it makes the gaps front and rear look much bigger. Yours looks fine as it is from the pics
  19. Ouch, not seen that before. Try PMing R35LEE and see if he has any. He breaks 350z now and again and has weird and wonderful parts
  20. Most people kill 2 birds with one stone and post their problem in the welcome section
  21. I can second that, I am currently rocking one of these systems and they are great. I believe Nurrish is also doing a bit of a billy bargain at the moment as well. Thirded. I dont have one, but have a carPC running the same nav software and its great. Nurrish got me into it and havent gone back to the standard nav on the PC software since. Much better and cheaper than birdview IMO
  22. Dont think thats much to be proud of chap, unless it was a temporary speed limit for roadworks Just make sure you dont get any more or your insurance will start to go up
  23. Get your name down for the Jockland Hoon, brilliant drive out, I'm making the few hundred mile trip up from Hampshire to do it
  24. Any reason? I'm guessing as you'll expect it to fit better or be better quality? Take my word for it, CS doesnt sell shoddy knock offs, most of the replicas are far better fitting and much better material that the originals. PM CS and he will give you the lowdown.
