  1. Working now, but nope, I dont recognise it.
  2. Must be replacing most of the engine the rate the bits are going
  3. The trouble is headline figure of a few HP would put people off spendin out, its not a huge gain imho However the limiter removal and throttle control being modified would make it feel better The issue was you couldnt clearly make out what the achivement actually was because the grid wasnt legible. Without reference you can make the difference look as big or as small as you want just changing the axis. Headline before and after at least gives an indication to the gain made and then you can see how much more has been made mid range etc.
  4. Ah good to hear. That in mind, when you take it to the track from now on out, you'll have to adapt a new braking style to accomodate the new brakes, i.e. you prolly won't have to do the late breaking and thus become more smoother in the corners If anything he will brake even later and even harder! I do agree with Ekona on the ABS without bedding them in. How f'in hard are you driving this car on the road? I only ever see my ABS light when its wet and something pulls out in front of me
  5. Not long now til you can all buy Windoows 7 and start all over again

  7. Good stuff. I should be along in the new year to get my car done. Just need to work out if its worth doing hiflow cats or not before getting it done. Also need to get the Nismo Y-Pipe I have repaired (needs new flexi pipe) or replaced to get the most out of the remap.

hi chris if i put 245/35/19 on the front as ive been told do you think this will be ok. many thanks for the info p.s my wheels are jade-r Yes that should be fine: +3.2% - 25.8" vs 26.6" I'm sure someone running 19s can confirm
  9. I think Cavey has something similarly massive on his Zed - sure they are 305 or 315s
  10. Imagine seeing them on the rear of a Zed Not for me though, I like to be able to turn into corners!

Very quick calculations from http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html +2.7% - Rays (26" vs 26.7") +3.3% - My 18" Rotas (24.8" vs 25.6") -0.5% - Your new ones (26.7" vs 26.6") See the problem? The front to back stagger should be about 2.5-3.5% from what I've seen (somewhere around there) with the rear tyre being bigger than the front. With your -0.5% difference, your front tyre is bigger than the rear, the rear thinks its spinning quicker than it really is in relation to the front, and thus the TC kicks in as it thinks the tyres are sliiping - measurement of slip of course being that the rear wheel is spinning quicker than the front. You dont have to keep it the same RR as stock, as my example shows, my Rotas are actually smaller RR, but keep the size stagger, so TC doesnt get upset. Hope whoever you got them from can appreciate they supplied the wrong tyres for a Zed - but perfectly acceptable for other cars with the same fitment. Hence why I asked if they were advertised as the right size tyres for the Zed, not the wheels. Hope that helps
  12. I dare you to suggest the Stig drive it with it on! He is a true driver and they turn off all the aids to see how quick the car really is Personally, I like the achievement of doing a proper heel/toe and taking a couple of years in the Zed to master it properly, so if (when) I get a 370z, synchro will be turned off
  13. I guess these are the guys you need to speak to http://www.nominet.org.uk/ They probably took ownership of it in the fall of Lycos? It appears their registered server has a typo. Googling it says that Facebook is registered with them so presume they are legit.
  14. Yeah I was after the headline figures, because its not that easy to interpolate the results from the graph - probably would be with a hard copy. ATM the remap of the stock car doesnt look to do an aweful lot, but I'm sure thats not the case. The popcharger variant looks to be a decent hike in torque and power Are you looking to get one on with things like a plenum spacer and/or y-Pipe and decats? I think thats the upgrade path that most follow
  15. Can you post the acutal numers for us? Its quite hard to read on the graph (might just be me!) to make out the real numbers. Looks like a nice bump in power having a popcharger over stock. You might also want to blank out the name a bit better, I can see who had it done

Can you post the exact tyre sizes front and rear to be clear? It sounds like a very common problem of people not knowing the rolling radius of the Zed tyres is staggered front to back (not to be confused with the width - we are talking radius here). They they go out more than a couple of percent then the car thinks the rear wheels are spinning quicker than the fronts when they are not and TC will kick in. Easily solvable with new tyres. Were the tyres advertised as correct for the Zed? Note - tyres - not wheels. We have had a problem before when wheels were advertised as "fitting" a Zed and they refused to replace tyres as that wasnt advertised as for the Zed, just they fit the wheels and the wheels fit the Zed. Hope that makes sense

    Clutch

ZMANALEX is the man to contact. Stock clutch kit is about £300 but well worth they extra as he can deliver super quick and very very reliable
  18. Running Windows 7 here, everything nice and fast
  19. Cant beleive its 2 discs this time, it will fill my little 20GB hard drive all on its own!
  20. Depends how big a chap you are too! I get migraines all the time and the doctor allows me to take slightly more than prescribed in normal over the counter doses. Should be ok taking a bit more just dont do it on an empty stomache. But you will be better to stack Ibuprofen and paracetamol. http://www.nhs.uk/chq/Pages/857.aspx?Ca ... goryID=103
  21. Because you have the original to go with it, dont you. We dont condone anything illegal around here
